Yep.....I have 12 speakers in my rig. Only 8 of which are powered from amplfiers. I got 4 (30w max mids) being powered by the deck and I have them meshing really well with everything else. Kenwood ftw.

Hey so does the kenwood excelon kdc x705 single din headunit have that same capability to power speakers and limit the output ? Basically what I’m trying to do is power 10 speakers but my dsp/amp is only good for 8 channel. If I could throw two tweeters onto the kenwood deck and have them all outputting at the same level gained matched and all that would be sweet! See like with my pioneer deck currently I’m using, the high level speaker output wires clip above volume 50/62 but on the rca output I can get to 60/62. I hope someone can shed some light on this please
