Fix a Loose E brake handle on a Jeep JL: JT

My hand brake stopped engaging completely and the whole thing was loose as hell, I called the Dealership and they said oh you have 108k miles it’s Probably your “double clutch” and told me to bring it in, turned out that it was so loose that one of the wires came off the bracket, so glad I watched this you are literally the best

My driver and carry licenses fell into the abyss in my 2021 JLUR. I was being stooped by the local police. The officer saw I had both in my hand but then he asked me to move to a safer spot. Thats when they both went kerplunk. Thankfully the officer trusted me and let me go. Happy the folks on a forum pointed me to folks pointed me to this video. Down and dirty, perfectly shot, perfect commentary. Thank you!

Manual slipped a little on a hill today. Thanks man. Quick 10min and fixed. So many vids taking the days apart and it was just a 6” extension with it propped up.

Mine takes 10 clicks on the hand brake lever to hold the wrangler in drive with a touch on the accelerator. There is no slack . I wonder if the drum shoes need adjusting or is this ok?

JL LIFE OFFROAD lolololol, losing hair I thought was a kid thing or maybe that’s gray hair(have more than a few myself). I really don’t wanna deal with the dealership and I have my tie rod/drag link and track bar brace coming so I’d rather just replace the stock parts and hope that tightens things up other than strengthen the steering. After I feel the dealership treated like I was dumb I’m sorta done with them. I kinda don’t even want another free oil change if I have anymore with them(didn’t put a sticker in the windshield and left a mess where they took it out).

I’d check your ebrake line… make sure nothing is stretching it… as if it was possibly routed incorrectly
