I had to calibrate the main voltage and also the individual ones to match each other. Now it works. thanks

I have had a lot of problems with toolkitrc chargers and the p200 power supply so I do not think they are as good as many on youtube say they are

Thanks for a great video. I had the same problem as you. I calibrated as described in your video but the problem started all over again after a few days. Calibrated again and it's was fine for some days and now I have to calibrate again. Not worth the money.

Thanks. I see that any charger is not calibrated. And the accuracy of the multimeter 0.5 - 1% is also low. Marketing. As a result, he calibrates the user with an old and inaccurate multimeter (like me) to correct the balancing mismatch error))) Thanks for ToolkitRC)

It's great that it requires calibration. I wished my SkyRc units would allow calibration. They are all a couple mV off on each of the balance port. I even had to swap one that was far too off.

my multifunction switch is wonky too after 2 years, it was voltage mismatch stable with the old v1.07 but when i updated to latest today i had to calibrate

This didn’t work for me. After calibrating the charger exactly as you do, it doesn’t let me charge my 450 mAh 4s lipos with the balance port, it’s still showing that message

I am at the end of calibration range and it is still .13V off 🤔

Great that they allow for calibration but not great that they need it. They should arrive calibrated to begin with.

Could someone explain, how 12v battery supply can charge 6s 25v battery? How does it work? What is the minimum voltage/amperage the charger requires?
@peytonenns557

Each cell is only like 4.16V and collectively they are 25V. I think that's how it works

Because it has internal circuits that can step up or step down voltage. As long as your input voltage is within range, it’s the watts that matter. Lets say for example you have a 6000 mah 4s lipo charged to 3.7v/cell (14.8v), it can easily discharge at the 10a, 15a or 20a supported by your device. Lets say yours supports 15a. 15a * 14.8v = 222 watts. This means you can charge 1 output battery at 200w or 2 batteries at 100w each. If your output battery is 25v, and you can charge it at 200w, 200w/25v=8a, so it will charge at approximately 8a max. But typically you would set it much lower for charging. If you want to use this input battery for recycle discharge of the output battery, then you need to set the settings for the input battery based on the maximum charge current it can take, normally 1c (6a). 6a*14.8v= 88w. In addition to max current and power your input battery can give or receive, you need to set the voltage limits for that battery, so the charger will end operation if it gets too high or low. And since it doesn’t have balance functions as input battery, you need to set the voltage limits corresponding to about 20% and 90% SOC. 3.2v/cell and 4.1v/cell, so on a 4s battery thats 12.8v-16.4v. Then if you are discharging a 6s output battery into it, it will automatically limit the discharge rate to 88w, and also stop the operation if the input battery reached 16.4v In Input settings, you can also set the power limit for your adapter, just the watts is enough. Then the device will automatically limit the charge rate of the output battery to this watts, regardless of the voltage.

well we shouldn't have to do this, i think my Toolkit RC is going in the garbage. Going back to my trusty Junsi iCharger.

Okay - got passed the M6D balance port error - now I get "CH2 port disconnected" error after a minute charging. This happens on both ports with both 1300mah/6S batteries singley or similtaneously. Suggestions ?
Wait for the last one! 👀
