I have found lots of videos showing how to fix it and this is so simple and easy that I can try it. Few yars ago I repair a bumper with just a heat gun and pieces of another bumper and it lasted for years, saving me to buy a new one and hundreds of dollars.

Has it still held up? Ive got a broken 3 piece spoiler for the mz21 im fixing and i need to fix the mounting screws as most have been snapped off. Been wondering how to do it until now. Any extra advice?

+Doc Ds re metal mesh that comes with the kit is good enough. And my welding still holding up good. This is the only solution afaik, or bring to the body shop and they'd do the same thing and charges half a grand

I think u can use a welding gun (the kind to fix electronics) and some flexible plastic. All it is just heating plastic to plastic and some wire mesh to make it strong.

Please share the link or how much is the price?

It’s at harbor freight under plastic welder. I think by welder with a triangle flat iron will do but harbor freight come with a kit with all the stuff needed to fix especial the metal mesh to keep everything together when u melt the plastics.

You actually don’t have to narrate the things you are supposed to do because it’s the actual process that is essential. But at the end I realized your explanation was better than what you did. Obviously, you need to watch tutorial videos on how to use fiberplex plastic welding sticks.

Ever heard the saying that "theres more than one way to skin a cat?" Same concept applies here. A different process to achieve the same final outcome....Try using your head first if you're going to comment!

Sorry but this work looks awfull. You dont show if this repairment have a good durability, how to machine this repaired surface to achieve proper dimension of tab etc. This will dont work

It’s still holding up fine. There’s videos of the shop does this and it’s the same process. Only different is they’ll charge hundreds of dollars

@Adi O Itll work if you take your time and use a little common sense! I mean, how hard is it for you to grasp how to sand filler down to shape it correctly? It's not rocket science man!
