Explained very well and concisely even though its a 20 minute video, Kudos Hector, well done. Im hoping that this will allow me to "batch edit" a messy CoA and not run into the problem that you get when you want to use an account number that is already in use, it seems that IIF editing will do that and just add an asterisk to account numbers that have been doubled. This will make quick work out of a task I have been dreading.

Can’t batch edit the account name or change account type.. so there isn’t much “editing” you can do in batch

So Hector, if you want the COA to correspond with the Income & Expense Graph? Looks each Inc/Exp Type needs to have different number.

So the Income and Expense Graph Chart, it is listed by COA #, depending on how organized that chart is and if each section of your income statement is how well the Chart works, so what is the best way to organize your COA numbers to utilize that Chart, is my question, do you have a video discussing that?

I cannot get the imports to work and I am using a Hosted QB platform. I tried just changing the accountnumber only. I receive errors on the import. Does this work for local desktop only?
