FIX Glass Sliding Door Lock

That being said, this could save you some money and keep your door going until you decide to buy a new lock.

The tab of metal just above the spring can be bent aside for better access to the spring. You can either bend it back or break it off. It doesn't do anything. Normally, I would recommend just buying a new lock, but the one you have is hard to find and more expensive than similar more common ones.

But where does the other end of spring attach? Have mine open and can't find anything online of how to reattach besides your video

There should be hole in there to reattach the spring. There was one on mine.

@@jjthetechguy Yeah I actually open mine up completely, because my spring was detached at both ends. Your video confirmed where one end connected and I figured out where the other end attached.... eventually at least. Should of made my own video and shown how the inside mechanism work's in conjunction with said spring in hindsight. Maybe next time I will, for now I plan on posting pictures I did take to help anyone else as I couldn't find any images or diagrams of the inside mechanism.
