Fix iPhone 7/7 Plus Won't Turn On - CPU Repair

iPhone 7/7 Plus won't turn on after it is dropped? Due to the imperfect technology of CPU supplier, the SDRAM of iPhone 7/7 Plus series can be easily damaged. Once dropped, the SDRAM might be short circuited and the phone won't turn on afterwards. The traditional SDRAM replacing method is complex and easy to get it pseudo soldered. In our experience, many of the SDRAM shorts also have short internal to CPU. We think that because this short generates so much heat or because the current comes through the CPU to get to the short within the SDRAM, that the CPU is often killed. Has this been your experience as well?

I have some tips... -Apply the least pressure you can while working with the CPU especially -Try to remain at low temperature for everything... i.e (205~225c for glue removal... 265~270c for wicking...) -Use BGA adhesive remover liquid

Hey rewa yesterday my iphone7 plus drown in water and it remained wet for 3-4 hours as I was in a island it working fine but then I switched it offf and it never turned back on so I went to a local repair shop to dry it off and he dried ad then checked motherboard and told me that it has short circuited so I just wanted to ask if it can be repaired as the apple says there's no warranty on wter damage

Did you just change the SDRAM and not the A10 chip itself? Say, if I were to break my iP7+ logic board with a Touch ID Module, and transfer the A10 chip to a recipient board that has working components (but without a A10 Chip), after the A10 chip was transferred, would the Touch ID module still work?

It's actually based on years of experience. 95% of the dropped iPhones with 1.8V short circuit have issues on SDRAM.

Sure. You can use this machine to remove the NAND of earlier version of iPhones. For damaged NAND, you can also query the data via iMEI.

We will arrive to the point in the future when repairs cannot be don like this becase the whole motherboard will be a big black square and it will only have a few connectors on it. Apple is really going that way cramming the cpu and ram together.

Not an easy repair, you can do it without the cnc machine but you need skills to break the sdram without bothering the cpu, to bad you didn't show that the phone gets to dfu before you put the new sdram. This is a common fault on the 7 series after a drop the sdram gets shorted. Nice video btw.

Hi, THANKS IN ADVANCE I have following issues just want to know what my real problem in iPhone 7 plus -Only switch on when connected with charger. -After boot, the mobile shows battery as 1% but not charging symbol even though connected to the charger and after 15 seconds, the battery shows 100% with charging symbol. -Within 15 seconds it will again restart and again the whole process continues. I tried to recover, erased all data and removed sim. Apple authorized service center told the problem is in motherboard so I need to pay 35000INR to get it replaced. PLEASE, anyone, HELP ME OUT I don't what to do.

We usually apply 320℃ ~ 340℃ for iPhone repair with our repair tools. The temperature is related to the brand of hot air gun, the material of PCB holder and environment temperature etc., so the given temperature is for reference only.

REWA Technology the environment inside the work ship room temperature only changes by about 10 degrees so is negligible since the PID controller for the heating element for hot air station has a deviation of +- 5 degree
