Fix Monitor Turns Off after few seconds or Minutes Repair Guide- DELL, LG, SAMSUNG and Many more.

The Problem was when we try to put some load, load means try to play some source on monitor it goes for after few seconds, it clearly shows there is a power cut in circuit, don't be fooled by repair shops they will force you to change the whole power supply . Just watch my video and do it your self

It's a easy fix for your LCD Monitor which have a integrated power supply, Power 🔋 IC regulate the flow of power through out the Circuit so if the IC goes bad then it automatically cuts the power when it reach its failure point. Every monitor is different but have same kind of power circuit.

Thanks for the good video - pretty interesting. I did disasamble my screen already, but could not find any issue. The capacitors look good and measure okay, the IC you have, it is not in my screen Power Supply. But it has the same phenomen that you describe - it works sometimes for up to 20 minutes, sometimes it crashes after 20 seconds. But I am out of ideas. I think it is not a heat issue, more a component that runs out of its specifications.. any candidates what to check on the HP LA2405 models?

My monitor has an external power supply. Every change I had made, changed the shut down problem by a bit. I tried everything. But just recently, If I pickup the power supply brick, the monitor would turn on again, but then after a bit, it would turn off again. If I didn't touch it after that, the monitor stayed off. So my last guess was that the power supply was at times current limited, and that the cause was a poor connection to the AC line. The AC line is plugged into the power supply brick. So I pulled the AC cable in one direction to see if that helped by forcing a better connection from the AC input socket to the internal PCB. No luck that time. Then I forced it in the opposite direction, and bingo, the monitor stayed on. For now, I have just pulled the cord in that direction and have kept it like that by taping the cord to the power supply brick on one side. If I would have looked at the DC output voltage with my oscilloscope in the first place, I would have noticed this brief intermittence long ago, but I was using my voltmeter instead. Voltage was fine, but of course there was a momentary drop in voltage for a fraction of a second just when the monitor turned off, which of course the meter did not catch. Holy crap. I hate intermittent problems, and other heat related problems. At one point I had disassembled the monitor and then it would not work at all. Then, just for the heck of it, I re-assembled it and hooked it back up to my computer, and now it worked, for about a week. In each of these cases, I obviously had left the AC cord in a slightly different position, thus changing the maximum current flow a tad bit

My antique SAMSUNG TV also had problems. It would not turn on. The red LED power indicator was working fine, and it flickered as you tried to turn the TV on with the remote control device as expected, but the TV never did turn on. So I took it apart and noticed that the top of one electrolytic capacitor in the power supply section was bulging. So I looked around for a capacitor of that value and found one in a device that I built way back in 1989. I used that capacitor as a replacement, and bingo, the TV was and is up and going again. I bought that TV back in 2010, so it is 11 years old now, but still works as good as the day I bought it.

When you say it turns off, do you mean the screen goes black and the power light stays on, or does the power light go out as well? My power light stays on when the screen goes black, and I'm wondering if that means it's a different problem.

@@drugloader8085 have you checked the IC position. And also make sure touch the IC while you start your monitor. If it get too hot it may be damage. Please check that.
