Coming to your question, frankly speaking anything which is gentle and does not fade the colour is colour safe. Using a mild shampoo and moisturizing conditioner is great for curly hair as well as coloured hair because in both the cases we need shampoos with surfactants that are gentle, conditioners that are moisturizing and doesn't buildup on hair or scalp (free of silicone and petroleum derivatives). So yes this product 'colour safe' too 😋 if you have coloured hair then try the ever more shampoo which is a Cowash. Just yesterday I bought my second bottle 😍

But frizz still there and i didnt get the wavy patern after applying the gel ( may be i have not put enough or I have just started ) i am a bit confused about few things......1st most .....do i need to wash my hair for one last time with sulphate shampoo to remove all previous silicon based products that I used ? 2nd shld i avoid gel initally since i have just started doing cg method??? Hi. If its still frizzy try deep conditioning your hair.. it really works... also use a curl defining cream before using the gel.. also try brudhing your hair with a denmans brush or a wide tooth comb after applying each product for even distribution.. these steps will reduce the frizz.... it worked for me... also as your ha7r is colour treated so it must be very dry, so the deep conditioning step is very important..

Hi! That is something I wont be able to answer because it is very specific to your skin. I do not know what it might react to. But it is a general guideline to ALWAYS wash your face after styling your hair and keep it away from your face while it is drying.

Hi! I never suggest anyyyone to look into porosity or curl type or sensitivity for trying out products. I have mentioned my hair likes protien (description box) hence it makes clear my hair is not protien sensitive. Curl type one can notice from the end results it's 3A-3B ☺️. Porosity is something that 99% people tell me they have low porosity to which I am not surprised because healthy hair in general is low porosity. Plus most people find their porosity wrong by doing water tests etc. It's not as simple as that..it requires microscopic level pictures to know what is the porosity which always shows that porosity is always less around the roots amd increases towards the ends gradually. So there is a high chance those 99% people have judged it wrong and most people feel low porosity doesn't need protein but turns out our hair is made up of protein and might like it a lot. Hence I never ask anyone to consider these factors 😇 if you read my Instagram posts, you would know. I always suggest try out some basic stuff for few weeks and figure out what your hair likes and what it doesn't and thus it will be easier to select products. For my hair, it doesn't like products that are oily or greasy and prefers products with high concentration of protein ♥️ i hope this helped 😇

@@chandhanaanil3503 i guess you are right! Does your hair feel dry dry rough all the time? And deep conditioner and a hair moisturiser like cream or leave in is dry hair's best friends. Think of your hair as a porous sponge so it will drink up all the water and will lose it quickly as well. So moisturise it ♥️♥️ never leave it without a leave in or a cream

@@desicurly it gets overly moisturized .. and day 3 is like greasy and day 4 i have to wash it definitely. I skipped protein for some time .. and now thinking to add it in hair routine. So that i can balance both ( protein and moisture) . My hair is sensitive to glycerine though. I use light leave-in, and flaxseed gel . Any suggestions for light weight strong hold gel ? A great job on the tutorial. Sure to help beginners like me. Can you please clarify if the gel works if the leave in conditioner is protein rich? I use curls blueberry bliss leave in which contains protein. Will glaze work with protein leave in as it is also loaded with protein.

So curls blueberry leave in isn’t rich in protein but very mild because the concentration of protein in it isn’t high enough. I have used it but didnt feel any difference in terms of protein so this gel should work with it because stay leave in is also low-medium in protein and it works with that one❤️

Hi I haven't used requil shampoo and conditioner but they are pretty good. Nothing any one of them will be good because for coloured hair in my opinion mild shampoos work better with heavy conditioning because shampoo should not fade off your colour quickly. Also, conditioner you can pick any one of them but weekly deep highly recommended for curly hair and when its coloured hair then you gotta go deep conditioning level 2.0 because you must not miss weekly deep as coloured hair is comparatively more dry . you can start with either of the shampoo and conditioner both are nice. But do try FMC Evermore that might suit you even better if your hair is veryyy dry

Hi yes it has protein in it fifth sixth and eighth ingredient is hydrolysed protein.But since I do not know what percentage of protein is there in the product I cannot say it’s a protein rich product or protein is in low concentration.Looks like high but you can Dm the brand on Instagram and you can check with them. Since they are the formulators, they would be able to answer this better.

Hi! Like the name itself says it 'leave in' means you have to leave it in your hair..leave in or hair creams are not supposed to be rinsed off. I have mentioned I rinsed off 50% Mellow which is a deep conditioner and 50% of it i left it in hair. It's also fine if I leave whole of Mellow in my hair or use it as a leave in conditioner..ask me why? Because the conditioners that are silicones mineral oil free can be left in hair and wont cause buildup. They can be left like leave in conditioners because leave in conditioners and conditioners have very similar formulations and ingredients. I often use such conditioners (also called as CG Friendly) as leave in conditioners and it works amazing! You can google about it too ☺️☺️😚♥️♥️

If you have never used any hair stylers then cannot suggest because without using stylers even my hair is dry and frizzy..that’s the nature of curly hair. Heat cap filled with flaxseed or rice is used for deep conditioning. For plopping you can use the same fabric that you are using for scrunching be it microfibre towel or cotton tshirt. It helps hair stay in place and also helps with curl pattern but is totally optional as it works for some and doesnt work for some. Need to do it properly. The video link I provided will help you will how yo do it properly. I like to do it for keeping freshly styled wet hair away from face while I finish up rest of bathroom work and wash my face and get ready.

Oh no no! Stylers like leave in, cream, mousse, gel, hair spray etc are supposed to be used after you have cleansed and conditioned your hair. They are not to be rinsed off. Do you rinse off your face after applying a cream or gel? No right? Its the same😇

Hi! So frizzy is not a hair type or problem...its the characteristic or nature of textured hair that differentiates it from straight hair. I also have frizzy hair...everyone with curly/wavy hair has frizzy hair. Porosity- doesnt matter and isn’t correct until you find it under microscope. 99% people tell me they have low porosity hair which isny correct because ends have higher porosity than the length and then hair around roots. It doesn’t matter what your porosity is..it doesnt bother us. I dont know my hair porosity and it wont even help me in any way so I was never interested in getting a microscopic level test done. Not sure who said hair gels are heavier because that is not true. Actually cannot be really compared. Mousse wont add hold to your hair and if yoy have wavy hair you need hold the most because wavy hair tends to becomes straight-ish quicker. Gel is life for wavy hair definition. Mousse will add some moisture to hair and might provide a tiny bit hold but not enough. You can use them in conjunction. But honestly NO MATTTER what I or anyone else would say...that wont help you much until you start using things and failing at them. Reason being, thats the only way to understand your hair. Everything I say or explain will help you understand only if you know your hair. If i say some gels can be used alone on low density or fine hair...will you be able to relate to it if you are not sure if yoy have low density hair or not..or if you have fine hair or not? Does my hair weighs down upon using slightest amount of leave in conditioner or cream? Even if I use properly?

'Should' is not really the question when it comes to personal care. Its all about if MY hair and scalp requires it. Why do we oil hair and scalp? to bring down the strength of shampoo, to soften hair and scalp and some oils also help bringing down stress especially the ones with minty fragrance. If you want to..you can go ahead yes but oil with a very light oil and in less qty. Cowash wont remove too much grease. You can skip it as well.

Honestly it wont help you choose 😋 I will select something for a reason because i know my hair for example I know my hair likes protein so fix my curls gel work very well on my hair and I can go for it. But arata gel also works very well on my hair. Just an example. Both curl up cream and fix my curls leave in works for my hair as well as none of them are heavy duty products and my hair agrees to that factor. So if you are new then go for any of it...it will ultimately help your hair while making your understand what doesnt work for your hair and what does help your hair.

Transitioning takes weeks to months depending upon how damaged or neglected hair had been earlier. It took me almost a year and two haircuts even though I had never coloured or bleached or would rarely ever straighten like once in a year :P

Hello, when you use your products almost everyday, doesn't your scalp start to get itchy or may be painful?? I used to use cantu, for after few months started facing issues.. now I've stopped, I use it only occasionally. Any tips or products for sensitive scalp??

Hey Sherry ♥️ no it doesn't happen in my case...itching is something personal to your scalp..for me my scalp has always been itchy and dandruff prone since 12 years. No matter what i use or do it's anyways going to comeback because its my scalp's permanent condition. Having painful scalp is something personal..i am not sure of the reason but it does happen to some. Probably google will help knowing possible reasons. And no i dont use products almost every..only washday which is 1-2 times a week or if i refresh in betweeen washes then tiny bit of stylers. Apart from that..it shouldn't affect scalp because stylers are for hair not scalp so anyways we are not going to use them on scalp unlike oil or shampoo. So I wonder how is it affecting your scalp..you you usimg on scalp too?

@@desicurly nah.. I don't use it on my scalp.. not sure though.. but the day I stopped using products the pain went away. So not very sure. N even I used it just twice. Anyways doesn't matter. Now I try styling my hair naturally, just wet scrunch n then leave it to air dry. :) Stays curly set for a day.. then next day onwards pineapple bun zindabad till next wash !! Haha 😋

darling dont put shampoo on the tips of your curls, it will dry them out, shampoo is only and only for the scalp

It could be the high protein content in it🙁 if your hair doesnt like high protein then it could be the issue. Use the leave in with homemade flaxseed gel and use the glaze gel with some low or no protein cream or leave in or any cg friendly conditioner ❤️ This is when your hair doesnt like too much protein. There could be other issues too. Just assuming😇

Too much fuss! I wash and towel dry, then rake "Stay" through and separate curls a bit..air dry..DONE. I know this is an ad for all their products but not necessary!

Hi miss ‘i know it all’ 😇 That might work for your hair but you can watch my other videos that’s how my hair care routine is and why do you think that what works for you will also work for others? If you like ready to eat pizza then if somebody doesn’t like that pizza and likes to make fresh pizza then will you call that you are being too fussy? Also please watch carefully.. you will notice you are not supposed to use both the cleansers but one at a time even though brand suggests to use both one after the other.
