Try authenticating with a different sim card, if this doesn't show failed to authenticate message, then it means your sim card is faulty. Get your sim card changed, apply for a duplicate sim card usually takes 4 5 hrs(Any 1 photo id required).. this is a common problem which occurs due to 4 5 yrs old or faulty sim cards whose configuration is not properly set by the carrier service...
