I think the A/D spam comes from the jiggle-peek. I have this bad habit as well. It's tough to correct because I use it both to get information, and can nab some quick kills with crosshair placement and a quick jiggle. I know I'm doing it in the wrong situations now too, and also doing it too often. With peekers advantage I'm just not comfortable holding an angle. I always want to be peeking and hence the jiggle all the time. Thanks for breaking down the differences and how each should be used (spotting/utility) vs. Peeking for kills.

I think AD spamming is a habit from people who play other, more open-world shooters. In BRs you typically never want to stand still in case someone is stalking you waiting for an easy kill etc. I definitely do this myself and I think it's from playing Hunt: Showdown and getting sniped by bush campers whenever you take your hand off the keyboard.

One important aspect of playing B that I don't think the person you're coaching fully understood is the importance of staying alive as long as possible. That's one of the main reasons for smoking nubox. Otherwise it was a great video, especially the part about not wasting your utility. One other comment I'd make (which might be info overload to the person being coached) is playing around your teammates if you soloQ. If I'm solo B I won't try to take banana control for example.

It's true he does a lot of unnecessary A-D-A-D but it doesn't have to be unnecessary, for example when you spray with AK/M4 you can do small A-D-A-D strafes and keeping the spray straight which makes it harder for the opponents to hit you and you can still keep spraying on them but if you do this, do not try it when you're shooting at targets that are very far away like shown in the video(Inferno middle to ramp) and if you do try this i would recommend to know your spray pattern before and get a feel for your strafing so you don't strafe left or right too much otherwise your spray will go crazy.

@@pienixcsI can't really agree with this kind of advice. With the right mentality it's even a good way of learning how to diminish the ADHDs expressions. I've hit ascendant 3 on Valorant and level 8 faceit before I took a long CS break from 2017 until the CS2 beta went live for almost everyone in september and I'd say both tac shooters always helped me a lot to work on myself or at least have way more control over it. Of course it always depends on how severely you're affected by it, but saying that anyone being affected by it should drop one of their hobbies isn't really doing it, especially for people who are actually aware of their strengths and weaknesses. I absolutely agree with you on that point if a person can't really apply a self reflecting mentality and if he or she doesn't work on their mechanics or doesn't learn to shut up the overthinking. The latter has been my biggest issue in any comp game, but it's surely a win if you can actually challenge yourself and improve over time, especially if you want to tackle your issues in general. Not trying to put it as facts here, but this is just my personal point of view that I've gathered from experience.

Right eye peek is a legend and does not exist at all it has been debunked by a french youtuber Evycsgo!
i don't get it, it's CS2, a-d-a-d peeking a "prefire" angle for info or kills is totally fine. Like i just checked faze vs VP Thunderpick World 2023 first couple of rounds, i guess almost all the pros has this bad habit then, because almost every time somebody can run on them they a-d-a-d from the correct angle to an off angle, they don't just hold the angle motionless (they a-d-a-d every time, like out in the open too kzbin.info/www/bejne/en-Um4WXaseFr5osi=Sip3OY4IUidFpVZ9&t=385 ) because that is actually a disadvantage in cs2 it seems like. I know it's not that black and white, because you as a player have to decide what is better to do in the moment, but this works the other way around as in sometimes a-d-a-d is perfectly fine in CS2, it's not as clear cut like in GO

people ad-ad spam alot to NOT be a stationary target once they get peeked. Obviously as CT in cs2 you should take more off-on peeks than holding, but if you do, this is the correct play here. The only thing he did wrong was to not spam it hart enough, because spamming it grants you accuracy as if you were holding still. UNLESS you hold either A -or D for too long. second part is him pre-aiming a common angle, so once the T's decide to go side he can peek and has a way easier shot, not sure why this is complained aswell. furthermore, right eye peeking is fact, but has nothing to do with the angle hes holding. Hes simply way to close to it, so to make it fairer for him a good position would be fountain, water, ruins, coffin etc. OR just swing wider. ON-OFF peeking Also, its ok to move IF you already get hit, tagging slows you down alot, especially after the second hit, so yes. Essentially keep strafing out if you want to get behind cover again, or A-D spam again to commit to the fight. 10:20 same example, yes he was moving but also counterstrafing which is FINE. Depends on the situation aslong as you A-D spam or you're already hit and accurate. 12:35 yes he stopped, but because he peeked into it, the othe time he was already holding an angle. Completly different scenario. 14:05 ye again, while yes he was moving, it was accurate and therefore good, getting behind cover was the wrong call here, should've fully commited. instead of showing him how to get banana control, you should've told him about defaults. let him think about it before the round even starts, what am I gonna do as my default for this specific round and the previous knowledge I gained from the enemys? This is the first thing I communicate with my teammate on B, so we are in sync of what to expect. 18:07 this is the part I liked, holding like that is just wrong, but that wasnt what he did. It was something in-between where he was trying to a-d spam an angle and not commiting with it once the gunfight starts, and generally being afraid of getting shot.
@MontySlython11 ай бұрын
It's his lack of control, AD spam occasionally is perfectly fine if you can control when you'll interact with the enemy and be fully accurate but when you don't have much crosshair control that spam just results in either missed shots because you couldn't control it or it results in you being full strafe and inaccurate when the enemy is ready, especially with how nervously he was doing it they could see his shoulder peek and be ready for the next spam he does.

You are saying "you ad" too much, he already knows it. No need to say it every round :D. He sounds annoyed and even says "this is bad habit i need to do something about it", because you keep telling the same thing whole video Still you keep saying "you keep ad'ing" like he could do it afterwards; since its demo. BUT OVERALL: Super super good coaching. Every tip on point. But too much sticking to that one thing. (He can take it negatively if you continously keep saying the thing he already have heard 100 times :D Me personally would've said "i know i ad'd, please don't remind me about it every 30sec" xd 6/5 coaching, besides that "ad" x 100

But to be straight, you said it so many times so it goes to his subconscious for sure XD haha. Im actually thinking to get coach session. And you seem to know A LOT of things and articulate well and its easy to understand! =)

long time before before the mechanical keyboard was a thing, when i was playing with a membrane keyboard, i remember my self having a much better movement (A/D), so i think some of the cheap crappy mechanical keyboard are destroying our movement, they do feel nice when typing, but i never liked them for the cs movement to be honest!!!
@pienixcs11 ай бұрын
i agree, used membrane logitech for ages before switching to gaming editions

Yep I agree here. That is why ordered myself a Wooting keyboard to make movements as snappy as they can be. Can highly recommend. Check some videos if you don't know how they work!

i thnik u missed the point , people need to be ad'ing all the time but he is just not good at it and he cant hold and angle like you are saying him to bcs he will just get prefired , learning how to ad and hit your shots while doing it is the key,no hate i jsut wanted to say my point off view

Not really, he was spamming ad too fast instead of counter strafing which is making sure you stop, then proceed with next a-d sequence

I mean every time I get owned by the enemies they just full run and gun. Only running and headshotting while moving. This is what the game is now.

Well maybe you're just in shit positions all the time
@yeayea53710 ай бұрын
@@pienixcs So u are telling me there are positions where u cant do that? :D It does not matter where u are when u get pushed and run n gunned :D Just explain me your logic pls :D I could hold any angle or position or not even hold just hide and when I get killed it's full running enemy holding mouse 1 and insta headshotting me. I am not a noob. I got 13k hours behind me. Global and lvl 10 and I can tell that it was very rare to happen in csgo at least for me. CS2 it's every match.

@@pienixcs I dont think my position makes their guns shoot different.
@pienixcs10 ай бұрын
@@yeayea537 Good position makes them not look at you initially which gives you time to shoot them first Also if you choose close range angles ppl with weapons that that accurate while running will have advantage Generally my bet is you are taking spots that are obvious or not correctly doing crossfires and enemies just expect you and preaim - it looks like they're running but they prolly stop right at you
@yeayea53710 ай бұрын
@@pienixcs I'm literally talking about ak run hs like nuke outside to heaven or even insta double dink the same distance with mp9. And this is why every angle is now being just run n gunned down. No matter how passive or sneaky angle u play. The only way to counter it is to have crossfire but then it's just all about luck and risks since u need to set 2 players for that to specific area of the map so it lacks elsewhere where the rest of the team gets ran on. That peekers advantage doesn't make it any easier when u get headshotted the same second u see the first pixel of the enemy if even that.

you say that moving is bad but i have maybe 20-30 hours in CS2 so far and the amount of times i have been killed from people running around the corner is insane. i don't believe you need to stop moving in cs2
@pienixcs11 ай бұрын
You might not notice it, only with certain weapons you'll be accurate in CS2, main weapons like ak-47 or m4 are not accurate while moving so you have to counter strafe :)
