Bro your a bloody legend I’ve had this problem for 2 years and when I would play fps games I had to manually pull the trigger back up. I messed up my screw so it was impossible take out this literally saved me paying £60 for a whole new controller

Break the under clip, theres 2, top and bottom, break the bottom one u just need the top one for it to catch on the controller

Might be the little black circle that passes the info try cleaning it, if dont work get a metallic wool and try to press the button board with it, if it works then the problrm is the tiny thing, if it dont, its the board itself

Tsukyme ngl I ended up opening the controller While the L2 was attached to the controller like it’s supposed to be The R2 had come out and it was stuck on the “second part”’of the controller, that section that’s a slightly different colour on every controller on the bottom all the way to the back Had to yank the R2 out and reattach it to the part of the controller it’s supposed to be on But now I got the problem where you can pretty much blow it and it presses 🤣 At least it presses Dyk the solution tho ? It presses too easily now

it might work with the tissue or any other soft stuff like the earbud thingin, and it will not jump out of the controller by itself , i still have it to this day and work just fine, i ended up doing in the other side aswell just to upfront fix before it breaks lol

Either the metalic little thing is broke or the holding plastic is broke, by what u described is second option, for that just get superbond glue and use on it but make sure to not have any other board and etc near si basically is just the plastic

L2 and r2 press by themselfs and controller doesn't charge. And I've tried everything and nothing works.

For the charging, try a different cable if still not working its the board plug that is loose, than u need to either replace the board or solder a USB cable directly into the place of the board or into the battery plug by removing it from the controller i have a tutorial on my channel teaching to do it check it out, abd on the L2 and R2 that seems like a interference problem, open the controller and turn it on in a game without the triggers to check if it still do it if it does then u have 3 options, 1st extreme one would be cut out the R2 and L2 board part then u lose it and will have to remap the controller via system, 2nd clean the board with any metallic stuff but softly, 3rd take it to a actual I.T(sony can be) person that can replace the connectors on the board or fix it in a different way

You can also take the battery out, cut a black and red USB cables and charge the battery directly into it and. After 5-10min put it back on the controller but gonna need always to do that
