Why there is a blurry GUI for a second when opening a plugin? If it’s a normal thing, why did UAD do that? I just don’t get it, it’s bad for the workflow :(

It's just three first time you instantiate it while it figures out the auth, kind of like the really long delay when you first instantiate the Slate Digital VMR.

i'm using windows 10 and it does the same, but i can't go to previous versions... any idea where the issue could come from?

I'm not as familiar with the Windows versions. If you run Winver what Win10 build are you on? 22H2?

I also just installed try the UADX plugin but when I open the DAW the plugin is blurry and doesn't allow editing, all are new versions, I have tried deleting and reinstalling but to no avail, it's still in dim mode ? Do you have any other way?

This is super strange. I don't get the option to Download any older versions. Do you have any idea what can be wrong. I have uninstalled all the plugins in my list and totally removed the UAConnect. Re installed it again but it doesn't make any difference.

Hi, Matt. Dumping your installed old versions would be helpful. There are plugins in vst3 folder and Application Support/Universal Audio/plugins I had success copying from another machine, but new versions with blur bug.

@@MattHepworth Hi Matt, I managed to get this working with Logic and AUs. I have applied for an account at the UAD forums so I can check that I post information in accordance with UAD guidelines. If accepted, I'll explain my solution.

With some help we've found a new work around, but it's limited to the plugins that were available before that code change. I'm working on completing a tutorial and process.

I just received a response from uaudio support and they refused to send me the older build with this option. I am willing to send you money if you are kind enough to upload and share your version of UA connect with me. I hope you are willing to be a trooper and help a fellow engineer out.. Bless !
