The funny thing is somehow I got the internet back and then few hours later. No internet again. It just keeps doing this.

i solved this problem by updating the wifi adaptor driver.

I keep trying every solution and my laptop keeps losing connection. I hate it. Like why? All my other devices are always connected via WiFi and they don’t lose connection once. This is annoying. Maybe I have a faulty network adapter and it needs to be repaired. I took my computer to the geek squad and they ran a diagnostic test through command prompt that scanned for corrupted files and repaired them. Then they said if that didn’t work to uninstall my WiFi driver and reset the computer. I did that and it still loses connection.

Somehow the DNS was set to manual with no addresses. I've never touched that. After making it dynamic it fixed it. I have no idea how that setting got nuked. Thanks. Restarted several times before that and phones were working fine on Wi-Fi so I knew it wasn't my access points... Windows doing what Windows does best. Confusing and making users work harder for stability.

4:08 Thanks for this! It fixed my issue! I remember changing some DNS settings recently but it seems resetting it to "Auto" didn't revert the changes I made.

This ususlly happens when the WiFi card is faulty i brought a new one from eBay for under £10 and now it works.

The problem I am having is there is no option for WiFi in my settings. It's only showing ethernet or dial up. I have a WiFi mobo and cannot connect to Internet to do driver updates etc. Please help.

Changed the dns and changed to automatic again not working. And even it somehow I got internet it will lost is infew hours😢

Is your IP address set to reset daily? Go to your wifi settings look for "Random hardware adresses" and turn it off

What does it mean if I ping the gateway ip and I get request timed out?

Nevermind, means it can't reach your router. My wifi chip was somehow loose after trying every option in this video and an hour of options from other sources.
