Fix xerox DocuColor 240 error code 093-314

Problem: Xerox error code 093-314
Solution: Reset NVM 762-312 to 0
This solution worked on my XEROX DocuColor 240. I believe it also works for DocuColor 242 and DocuColor 250, but I can't be certain. Do your research!!!
Also, use this method at your own risk. I will not be responsible if anything should go wrong with your printer.
Enter diagnostics mode:
Press and hold the 0 key for 5 seconds, then press the Start button (while still holding down the 0 key).
The Access Number screen will appear, Enter 6789 and press Confirm.
Press the Log In/Out button on the UI.
The System Settings screen appears.
Select System Settings.
Select Common Settings.
Select Maintenance/Diagnostics.
Select NVM Read / Write.
Enter 762-315 and reset to 0.

Really ! So you know what this code is for? and why you are changing it? and what the cause of this fault is? You shouldn't go messing about in diag mode especially NVM settings. Next time use the quick Special Boot Sequence. Turn off machine, Hold down the stop,power/energy save and the 3 key all at the same time then power on the machine while holding these three buttons. This will tell you if you have a NVM fault.

93-314 is a yellow dispenser fault. This procedure will only work temporarily. You need to take a look at the yellow developer chute opening to make sure it is not clogged. More than likely, it is and needs to be replaced. Also the yellow toner dispenser more than likely is clogged also and needs to be replaced or vacuumed out. The toner dispenser motor might be burned out due to the toner backing up on the dispenser. You may have to reset an NVM to clear the fault after the procedure above. Please becareful when initializing NVMs as it will reset to factory defaults on certain settings. Only reset an NVM location, particularly to the fault.

+DAOUD BRIKCI Nadir I' don't know the answer to your question, but I would try the following: Unplug the power cable from the outlet/wall. In the back of the printer, turn the power button off. Wait for a minute, plug the power cable in the outlet, turn the power button on, from the back of the machine. Turn on the printer. Hopefully this will solver your problem. Please let me know if this solves your problem.
