Should I have my aiming left/right acceleration to 0

This is because your game is running at an aspect ratio of 16:9. So you vertical is "less distance" than your horizontal. Therefore you wouldn't want your ratio to be 100% since your vertical is "smaller" or less screen real-estate. So by increasing your vertical ratio you are in turn lowering your horizontal speed. I hope this makes sense?

As if it’s literally delayed, also when you shoot, the triggers has a weird sensitivity where if you tap fire it’ll shoot like 3 billets at a time. You can’t actually tap fire in the game rn it’s weird.

@@psychobooty1109 no sadly, the l2 and R2 deadzones don’t actually seem to fix anything right now. No matter where you put them the ads and fire time is delayed no matter what your settings are on. Hopefully they fix it soon

They need to make the player strafe speed faster. That will fix the horizontal tracking of other players while ADS. Track with your feet moving sideways rather than trying to track with your right stick.

You just clinically described what I have been feeling lol it so does feel "off" not only that but I can't use my series X controller on my pc in bf2042 without hardwiring it in or it does the same thing as the new mouse bug (the triggers control left and right aim!!) A d when attempting to bind zoom and shoot to the triggers it didn't even see the button compression at all? Luckily I tried my 15 year old wired xbox 360 controller to see what would happen and it worked fine so I realised if I plug series x controller in with a phone charger directly into the pc it works like the 360 controller did lol ( haven't seen anyone else with this problem) so anyways... I am about to try your settings!! You have earned my sub!!

I turned this setting off. For some reason with my FOV it felt like everyone I was shooting at were just small specks and I kept missing everyone. I like to have that extra zoom. I guess depends on your recoil management abilities. I just don’t like how zoomed out it feels with it on

This will only work if you have the same size tv as Band. Example. If Band us using a 50” tv and he moves just a tweak on controller it might move quarter inch. Do same move on a 70” inch tv and the same tweak is 3” inches. You have to find the settings for YOUR size tv.

@@Bandofbros_ Trust me, i would never dispute yout monitor knowledge, but dont dispute my tv knowledge. I have played from 42” to 80” and they are very different. The smallest movements on large tvs are very exaggerated compared to smaller tvs. It took me days to adjust going from a 50” to an 80”. I find, for me, i have to turn sensitivity down quite a bit the larger i go.

Most sensitivity values are subjective. Default Soldier Aim Ratio is 48% although 56% is claimed to fit in better with 16:9 screen displays. Soldier Aim Ratio being 48% worked on previous Battlefield titles which are more horizontal fire fights but obviously Battlefield 2042 has alot more verticality to its gunfights. Again, though, whatever feels nice for the individual.

even with these settings this game feels so weird. My average score in BF5 was 30-40 kills per round, in this game i cant even get 10 kills per round cuz i loose every gunfight, get run over by a vehicle or get shredded from 20 players instantly... Assuming you are on controller, try adjusting the soldier aim assist value. The reason it may be hard to lead is because you are too stuck into the target.

@@DonKopArkadio Correct. You'll just have to consider how often you are actually in those scenarios where you have to lead the target compared to a normal head on gunfight. Wouldn't want to make leading a target easier, but then normal gunfights harder.
