Another error could be ELRS model match, which has to be set the same on radio and receiver. Either set it off, or make sure both are set to the same model number. This one got me a couple times.

thank you . i have been on the struggle bus......a vid well worth saving for me, with luck my new tanq build will have its elrs rec going. thank you again for all you do and the time you spend doing it.

Also cut he SBUS wires if you are using DJI O3 VTX. They are the brown and orange wires if you are using the 6 wire OEM wiring harness provided by DJI. You only need the power, ground, RX, and TX wires when using ELRS or TBS Crossfire receivers.

Thank you for this one, I’ve been struggling with this is in the past, but now it’s not being able to get my fc to connect to anything.

Some Spi receivers won't support some higher packet rates so that's one more thing to note
@Painless3607 күн бұрын
Thjanks for the note. I stay away from SPI based receivers. I've had all kinds of problems with them here and seperate Rx are so much easier to setup, use and troubleshoot and work so much better for anything beyond flying round the house IMHO... Happy flying!

Can I use two different ELRS receivers with two different ELRS transmitters with the same passthrough password set on all RX and TX at the same time without the signal interfering? I am flying fixed wings.
@pkendall647 күн бұрын
No, you cannot have two transmitters with the same phrase operating at the same time as two receivers. They will interfere with each other.

@@pkendall64 Thanks, can I have the same binding phrase on both RX and TX but with different Model Match id to make it work?
@pkendall646 күн бұрын
@@afilos No, with model match enabled, even if the model numbers are different, the TX and RX will connect but no data is passed to the FC or servos.
@afilos6 күн бұрын
@@pkendall64 So I need dedicated TX to each RX, to fly both TXs and RXs at the same time. thank you
@pkendall646 күн бұрын
@@afilos Well, with 3.5 ELRS theres a new binding mode on the RX called "Volatile" which forgets it's binding when power is lost. So the RX will always be in binding mode when first powered, so you just need to bind (from the Lua script) before flying.
