I bought the stronger adapter but I will still having issues. Then I tried the updating everything method. Chipset and also motherboard BIOS, for good measure. And sure enough, I've gotten a great connection since! Thanks, mate!

My right contorller keeps randomly sticking on one spot, you can turn it and all directions but just in one fixed spot. It randomly dose this alot, the left is fine. Anyone else experience this? I've yet to get it to stop doing this and its frustrating.

Just wanted to thank you for this video. I will be subscribing to your channel for more VR videos. I installed mine this week I had it up and running in a few mins playing Half Life Alyx. I have bluetooth build into the motherboard, but I have had many controllers and bluetooth devices without any problems on this PC some others not so much. I was also fortunate my last monitor gave me an extra displayport cable. If I had to buy a dongle and cable I probably wouldn’t even bothered to try, but now going to pick up some meta games with revive and metalink.

Another Tip: Connect the PS Adapter to a High speed USB 3 port (the one with blue, google "USB 3.0" to see how it looks). Also preferably the USB hub must be directly connected to your mother board, do not use the USB hub in your computer case for example. I had problems with that. As soon as I connected it directly to the motherboard into the blue USB 3 hub my tracking was almost perfect, 90% like connecting it with of original PS5. Maybe the remaining 10% are due to me using a wireless bluetooth mouse and it can itefere, but Im ok with that.

I'm running bt 5.2 from my mother board running an external aerial that connects both channels from your wifi/bt and I have it placed outside the case it improved connectivity for any bt device. Cheap on ebay and may also improve wifi performance as the aerial is not on the back of your pc

The UB500 did not work for me kept losing track of 1 controler while playing. Bought the AX3000 and it worked straight away after connecting and no track issues. Cost a bit more but i can now trow away my ub500 and the ext cord(ofc can use it but still had to buy it to test)

Hey bud, was the issue you was having where 1 controller gets stuck on an axis and you can only spin it? just want to know as this may fix my issue if so.😮‍💨 If it is, got a link?

@@mancaveprops6923 Yes indeed, you could for example still use the buttons on the controller that was stuck but and turn the hand but it was stuck in place. The upgrade i bought is the AX3000 TP-link, just see if you could get it somehwere nearby

My problem is that I associated the first time the 2 controllers after the firmware update but now I cannot see the L controller, I uninstall it but it reappears on the bluetooth list but it don't work

Sorry I'm only seeing this now. Did you set it to forget on in the bluetooth menu and then try reinstalling or rolling the update back (if possible). It might still be worth making sure also the the bluetooth drives (not the firmware part) itself is updated to the latest drivers as specified in the video or getting a more powerful bluetooth device instead.

I'd recommend trying one of the fixes in the video so you can have the option of using two controllers like civilised VR gamers (otherwise, I'd guess no).

I can't get the controllers to track at all. They're connected, I'm in the initial set up, but after gripping the controllers to go to the next step, it's not tracking the controllers so I can click OK with either R2 or L2, despite them being connected. I can feel vibrational feed back when hitting certain buttons, and I can open the Steam menu with the PS buttons on both controllers.... Anyone know how to fix this? Is it just my bluetooth adapter? Or is there some setting I need to check? The adapter I'm using is the "ZEXMTE Long Range USB Bluetooth Adapter for PC 5.4 USB Bluetooth Dongle with High Gain Antenna" I have the adapter plugged into an extending cord (Though originally I just had it plugged into the PC), it's in a USB 2.0 slot (And, just for fun, I tried it in one of the 3.0 ones too, with the same results) and I've just tried having one controller on to see if it's conflicting in some way on the dongle... But nothing has worked.

Your Bluetooth is not one of the recommended ones on the playstation site as shown in the video in addition to this, doing a quick search it looks like your one's official website is an inactive shopify with no online drivers available, it also generally gives me a vibe of being basic / weak bluetooth and maybe a cheap chinese knockoff or similar 😅 so my guess is you're gonna have to spend more money on one of the recommended / strong bluetooth devices as shown in the video available via my pinned comment (disclaimer, affiliate links naturally 💸) or use the cheaper visuallink option as mentioned in my setup video if that is valid option for you kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnnHZqdpec2Vj7M Hope that helps!

That's the same as mine...you need to do Fix 3 and find your motherboard manufacturer's website and download the correct driver or easier still their support software like Armoury Crate if you're using a ROG / Asus or MSI Center if MSI etc etc and follow the steps in the video from as instructed to update them to the latest chipset drivers. Do that and you should be good to go otherwise the other 2 methods are pretty much the only options at that point! Let us know how you get on.

Remove the devices from your bt settings, uninstal playstation app and steamvr and reinstall them. Than then off bluetooth for a few sec and turn it on again, reconnect your controlers to bt this should make it reset it and worked for me. Al do tracking is another issue that i had with the ub500 with extention cord 2.0 and drivers update. I bought the Ax3000 and it works now just like my ps5 bt connection.

Sorry to hear that. Yep...try you can try what BaskeVR suggests, also if you haven't already updating the drivers directly as solution one suggests might solve that too with having to even uninstall anything (or after doing so) and solution is worth trying if you have an internal one like my board does...either of these many suggestions (including Baske's) should have you right. Thats just a very bad product from sony. With every update they are turning into brick more and more. First they stopped charging. Now i can't pair them to PC. And on top of that that i can't use vr headset without updating controllers, just seeing update window infront. I don't know how Sony was able to make such a worthless product.
