Its on my Christmas list- it doesn't replace lessons but the feedback in practice is gold. I'd say that understanding swing mechanics is about the individual too- some are super technical and will love this, others haven't got a scooby and will lose their way- and that applies to us amateurs and pros too !

Thanks for the review. I just got mine in the mail (Cyber Monday special for $450). As usually with aids like this, there's usually something going on prior to the fault. I'm not a teaching pro, but I think the reason why get over the top is that you get into early extension in the backswing and thus you don't have enough time in the downswing to get out of EE. Essentially the center of your pelvis moves closer to the ball from address to the top of the backswing. You end up not having enough 'space' between you and the ball so your arms swing more vertically (steep) in order to compensate. I think your EE in the backswing is a function of you twisting the hips rather than turning the hips (I also think you lack some tilting). I call it 'twisting' the hips because it's like making Chubby Checkers 'twist' dance move. Instead the 'turning' of the hips in the backswing is more of the golfer just pulling their right hip back (away from the golf ball). The left hip will turn, but just a little. And the left knee will gain some flexion and the tailbone will turn, but stay relatively in the same place (it may actually move a little further away from the ball in the backswing). That will give you the 'turn' in your pelvis and give you enough space between you and the ball and allow for you to swing the arms shallower after transition and not come 'over the top.'

What exactly is; “an empty box of balls”? That sounds somewhat paradoxical. Love the content mate. Keep up the great work.

I don't think I could ever justify spending that amount of money on this kind of training aid. I'd prefer to spend it on lessions
