Ok…I tried everything u suggested. Nothing. I gave up, put it back on charger to see if it would charge over night. I wasn’t too worried because my son works for Apple. I knew I’d get a new watch in exchange if this one didn’t work. I went to try your method one more time, but when I went to do it…my watch turned back on! I think one of your suggestions worked or my friggin watch is haunted lol. Thanks for the help!!!

I had same problem with my new Series 8 watch. In my case I use 30w USB C charger and after 2-3 hours my watch got 20%+ and from that point it’s working as expected.

Thanks! Looks like same with me, just opened my new 8 and it was like that. After half an hour still like that, read your comment so I put it back on charger about 50 minutes, now it seems to be working. We’ll see as I set it up , doesn’t instill confidence to start out that way though.

Series 4 here. Didn't work. Watch shows green snake, gets hot, flashes to red snake for a second, then back go green snake. It's been doing this for almost a month.

Just had the same problem with my apple watch recently. What I did: charge the apple watch, while charging then press both buttons repeatedly, dont stop until the apple logo will come out. For me it takes 20 minutes for the apple logo to come out. There are some 10 or 15 minutes, it depends. I have this idea on the other comments from the other video. It really works. Just sharing to others.

20 SECONDS worked, 10 did not on the power button. So, I would suggest holding it at least 30 before you give up.

I also think if it’s overheated it won’t charge too, idk if it’s true but many times my watch won’t charge with a new charger and the watch is hot as hell but when it’s cooled it charges

@G. Rasen I had charged my watch in the car and it was so hot it wasn’t even trying to charge. I brought it inside and used a different charger and it wasn’t charging. So I just let it sit for a little bit then 5 hours later it was charging.
