Howdy y’all. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I wanted to do a quick review for y’all on a knife I got for Christmas, the Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter 15017. I’m a huge Benchmade fan, and this one has quickly become my favorite.

Update: Had the knife as EDC for a few weeks now. LOVE IT. I sharpened it right out of the box. I work retail/sales so a lot of boxes, straps, packaging, etc. Still sharp as hell!

Sorry for the late response…your comment just showed up in my feed. Mine came razor sharp out of the box and I’ve just had to touch it up a few times with the ceramic rod and a few passes on the strop. This thing is on my belt everyday! I’m glad you’re pleased with your purchase and that I might have given you the info you needed!!!

I have one, I like leather sheaths, but not the one that came with it.
