My favorite EDC knife for 3 years now is the Lionsteel H1. At first I was skeptical about the karambit ring, but I’ve found it to be one of the best features for quick deployment and extra leverage.

How has edge retention been for you? I’ve always been afraid to purchase an Italian brand because of stories of them running soft.

@@EvilTwinRC51 It can pass a paper test anytime and I don't remember the last time I sharpened it. Honestly, I don't even think about it, which is what I want in an EDC.

I have a number of small fixed blades but if I could only choose one without a bigger backup blade I’d go with my flat ground Enzo necker black micarta handle 12c27 steel sharp spine leather neck sheath that can also be worn on a belt.

Thanks. Unfortunately we’re polar opposites in our knife preferences. Ha ha. Not a single one did I go “hey I need to research that one”. And that’s saying something cause I am sure we’re on the same level of knife crazy. Still enjoy your videos though so keep ‘em coming.

Agreed 👍. Sub 3”? My neck. knife is 4”. No way would I carry anything less than a 4” on my neck. And nothing less than 7” on my hip. But, I am in a tiny minority. At least they are fixed blades. But I bet 75%+ on KZbin would disagree with MO. Dude LOVES big blades so no matter what he posts, ima watchin! Gotta support a large knife lover with a thumbs up and my dumbass comment to help the algorithm 👍
