Was upgrading from a 1600 to a 5600. I cleaned my RAM slightly, didn’t use an eraser, and swapped the two slots. Booted. Thanks for the vid.

I was trying to turn on my PC after a long time of not being able to use it. When I pushed the power button my PC would beep and then turn off but my fans were still running. I ran into this video and it helped a lot. I personally was very scared to even open the side panel and mess around with the stuff INSIDE, but let me tell you! It was not hard!!! once I got inside my PC, I removed both the battery and the sticks just to increase the chance of my pc turning on, cleaned them, and placed them back. Great video, very informative, yeah right! there are lots of factors why a PC won't display even if it turned on. The most common part is RAM memory corrosion. Overtime the memory or ram of your PC becomes corroded, and when it is corroded, the PC won't output any display. That's why you have to uplug it from the board and clean it using any pencil eraser, but be sure no to touch the copper side (the color gold) to avoid possible damage on the ram. There's a lot of other factors like the motherboard if it's defective, it won't give any display and also the power supply if it's defective even if it powered on but it's already deteriorated due to old age and cannot provide enought amper to the processor, board, memory or the monitor itself it cannot give any display.

Things to check first 1. RAM or RAM slot 2. CPU [ if your VGA is connected to motherboard, you have to make sure that your cpu have INTEGRATED GRAPHIC in it ] or graphic wouldnt appear. 3. GPU or VGA on GPU slot

@@MartaMarinkovic It wont, but I would suggest simply unplugging everything from the back of your pc and hold down the power button for a full 1 minute, thats what worked for me. Havent experienced a black screen in over a week so far and before it was 50-50. You could also do that while the GPU is removed and clean out any dust just to be safe then proceed to discharge for a full minute.

@@bollylone3818 I opened up the PC case. Popped out the silver button battery using a plastics implement. I waited about ten seconds and put the battery back in again. When I booted it up again I had the monitor image back again. I can't guarantee this method will work for you but it is certainly worth a try!

I dropped a book on my CPU from a metre above it (unintentionally, of course). It then turned on without display, while the power button flickered 2 amber blinks and 4 white blinks followed by a long pause, signifying Memory/RAM failure. I used the eraser on my RAM sticks, and that solved the issue. Logic? idek. Value for money? 1000%. Hotel? Trivago. p.s. thank you to the creator of this video

Sir, I am facing an issue, please resolve this for me.. Recently I bought a new 4GB DDR4 RAM stick for my pc with the hope of doubling it, previously I had one 4GB stick. I bought the same brand same model RAM (Crucial Basics 4GB DDR4 RAM, model number: CB4GU2666). When I installed it into the other memory slot of the motherboard (Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H, rev 2.0, has two memory slots, dual-channel configuration) and tried to boot up, it disappointed me. It didn't boot up. But the fans (CPU fan, power supply fan, and the cabinet fan) were moving. Firstly I thought that the RAM is faulty, but it isn't. When I replaced the old RAM and put it into that slot (slot 2), it finely boots up. So the new RAM is okay. Case 1: Any RAM (one at a time) in slot 1, the system does not boot up, no display. Case 2: Any RAM (one at a time) in slot 2, the system boots up and works fine. Case 3: Putting the two RAMs in both slots i.e. the new into slot 1 and the old into slot 2 or the new into slot 2 and the old into slot 1, the system doesn't boot up, no display. The same happens as case 1. My PC configuration: OS: Windows 11 (Recently upgraded) Processor: AMD Athlon 3000G processor with integrated AMD Radeon Vega 3 Graphics (64-bit compatible processor) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H rev 2.0 RAM: Crucial 4GB DDR4 2666 MHz RAM Sir, whenever I put a RAM in slot 1, the system doesn't boot up, no display. Strange thing is, even slot 2 has a RAM, the system does not show display because of putting RAM in slot 1. I am sure there is something wrong with that slot. please suggest to me what I should do. Things I have tried: 1. Cleaned several times slot 1 with a dry fresh cloth. 2. Opened the processor and tried to find fault in the CPU socket in the motherboard, but could not find any. 3. Opened the CMOS battery, cleaning it reinstalled. Means the bios is now reset. 4. Disconnecting the mechanical Hard Drive (I have an SSD as well, where the OS is installed)

One weird thing that's helped me a few times is having a second cable to plug in...I just got finished swapping a power supply out and everything was working fine with one cable prior, I was only upgrading.. After I put the new PSU in, I turned the PC on and the display worked for a split second but then went black, I tried everything in the videos..but when I swapped the cable it worked just fine...I know the other cable isn't broke too...This has happened to me at least 3 times with this type of motherboard. Maybe this is someone else's problem too, so figured I'd post a comment. Hope I helped.

@@LuckyHacks4 VGA, DVI, HDMI - Whatever cable one is using to connect the monitor to the PC. I was referring to VGA.
