I wish the governments banned people for having kids after 2004, meaning if men impregnates women in 2004 and after, both of them should've been shot. Because of you people keep having kids, now people born in 2010's and 2020's will never get to play the original games. I bet most new kids will start playing the Definitive Edition and never get to experience the originals because they're old games and your kids weren't alive during the 2000's or 2010's. I'm never going to have children because I fear they'll never going to experience the originals and only play the Definitive Edition. If I ever have kids and if they prefer the Definitive Edition over the original, I would throw them out of the window. God people born between 2005 and now were/are born too late, 1990's was the last good decade to be born in.

1. The first one is more likely a bug than a "feature".... GTA:SA is set around 1992 and I don't think there's many automatic light sensors installed in convenience stores. 2. As others have pointed out, Rockstar changed them to FIB to avoid troubles, this can be seen gta 4 as well as gta 5, so not particularly some "improvements" or "new features"...

First one is definitely more like a bug, it's likely the engine is overly optimised to cull/remove objects not in view.

The first one is not a feature, but a bug. The light fixtures completely disappear when you walk out. They don't just "turn off"

They changed it to FIB because it caused them some issues in the past. For the 10th anniversary versions it was changed to FIB as well, it doesn’t really have anything to do with continuity or universes.

@@TheRisingTide89 the only thing (which I’ll admit I was wrong about) was that it was not changed in 10th anniversary, just changed going into the new universe. They still changed it due to problems with the name.

@@Cazador6996 The agency was renamed from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to the Federal Investigation Bureau (FIB) in the HD Universe because of Rockstar facing legal issues with the real Federal Bureau of Investigation. Also In the 10th Anniversary Edition and the Definitive Edition, the FBI agents have the lettering changed from FBI to FIB. This does not apply to the name of the FBI Car.

Actually Shoot And Move In Any Direction In Original Already Has Detail Because You Must Higher Weapon Skill Level If Skill Max You Can Shot Any Direction

They have to bring back the original sky hues, climates, and atmospheric visuals to the definitive edition (specifically San Andreas). They also need to lower the draw distance similar to the original. The game just doesn’t feel right without those

@@paulbell3682 there's no "distance fog". You can still see Mt chilliad from anywhere in LS in DE. Ground haze only works when you're high up & the transition from no haze > haze is a 2D plane that just looks very bad for a "modern engine". The mod created by fans actually fix the issue a lot more adequately 🤔

"DE fixed some old bugs" Those bugs happened when you uncap the framerate, you cannot uncap framerates in DE, therefore, "fixes" the bug.

In the mulholland house on ps2 you can walk through the window in the corner and fall through the map. They fixed it in the trilogy

I also noticed with the Beefy Baron glitch on the ps2 if you steer the plane into the water, the game puts CJ falling to his death for some reason. I have the DE on Switch and the Beefy Baron glitch no longer seems to occur.

Regarding to the inconsistency with strafing while aiming in the original SA, try turning on the frame limiter. I had the same thing happening with the shotgun and automatic rifles. Having the frame limiter turned off also fudges some weapons in the original VC. For example, if you shoot SPAS-12 while being crouched it will start "jamming" or "misfiring" sometimes. The game will play firing animation but no bullets will come out and no ammo will be expended.

0:18 that is not a feature but an optimization. When you leave the store some details disappear and that happens to include all the lights. It is not supposed to be like that, it is just done to remove some light sources from the screen because they are rather costly to render.

Fun fact: people were a little upset how the butterfly valves on the trans am like cars in vice city are gone. I accidentally noticed they appear, and function on those the cars when their headlights are on. More bizarre glitches from the trilogy I guess lol

If you mean the original trilogy then for San Andreas there is an add-on called Silent's Patch which resolves many of the issues found in the original game including the hood valves on the Phoenix. Most players including me consider it an essential!

As many others said: The movement when shooting were in the GTA SA from the beggining, the thing is that you have to practice with that gun to have a higher skill, when you reach that skill, you can move while shooting, I mean... it's a realistic thing if you think, you can't move while shooting when you're "begginer" with a gun.

Yeah, well... There was a glitch that didn't let you walk while aiming even when you had the higher skill with the guns. That was because the animations are tied to the framerate.

I noticed a lot of "old bugs" people talk about being fixed are from pc or xbox ports, not the original ps2 version. They probably just started with the ps2 version when they trimmed it down to make the mobile ports they started with for the "remaster" and they didn't fix much from those mobile port for the "remaster".

Details, Improvements, and New Mechanics that Grove Street Games need to put in The Definitive Edition. GTA 3: -Claude can recruite gang members on which gang he’s on (Leone Mafia, Yakuza, and Southside Hoods). -You can now enter inside stores, buildings, and safehouses. -New weapons: Silenced Pistols, Mini-guns, Chainsaws, Mines, Silenced Uzis, and other melee weapons. -New middle finger command for Claude. -If npc’s see you killing another box they will run to the nearest phone booth and call the police. -Helicopters, Planes, and Jets. -You can rob stores and earn money. -Purchasable Safehouses. -Claude can now swim and underneath water. -New Diving Animation. -Claude can get multiple outfits from stores like Vice city. -Face Expressions. -Cameras added. -New Snapshots hidden all around the city. -Unfinished buildings are now fixed. -Car Windshields can be broken and Tires can be popped. -Claude can crouch and move around. -Give the Leone Mafia no shotgun, so Saint Marks can be safer now. In Greece there are many houses which have doors in awkward places, especially in the countryside, with many owners claim they did it because they planned to add more buildings in the future and had to legally register that with their current laws so that they would not be obliged to pay more taxes with newer laws (of course I don't know much about the construction business so I don't know if that's true, but there are hundreds of such houses here) - Maybe the owner of the house in the original version was Greek 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Also, regarding the FBI - FIB swap, there had been legal issues with the agencies (all of them 😎) requesting their original names not be included in parodies and such (with exceptions of course), requesting they would either be hinted in games/movies/literature/comics (i.e. "I work for THE Agency") or have fake names - All of this in order to avoid confusion and gaining bad reputation which could affect them. In any case, now that you know, you also have to know that we'll be watching you and that we'll ALWAYS be watching, or listening... or both 😏

If you’re struggling moving right or left while aiming in the original, cap your FPS at 30. Enable the frame locker.

I had no problem by the shooting movement part when i played GTA SA before, i did not experience broken movement.

the first one is a bug that only appears when you aren't inside, those lights should be present at all times, that's why those light models just shows up when you're inside. and the firefighters immediately burning to death is just stupid.

I like the passenger glitch. Wish it stayed in the DE. Not sure why they changed the FBI to the FIB though.

6:03, no gta 3 was made on the renderwhare engine, vice city had its own custom made engine by rockstar

@@Rosiaczek that is not true, look it up gta 3 is on renderware, vice city is on a modified version of renderware called "vice city engine" and san andreas is an even more modified engine of renderware
