Fixing 2020s Awful New Warriors

I had originally intended on putting this through 1 more round of editing but after watching the test upload a few times n getting some feed back I've decided I'm satisfied with its quality and want to move on to working on the next project that being said I have 1 editors note that I meant to include in the video; 21:53 a more accurate way of phrasing what I meant was the coverage by mainstream media and the overall public reaction to this atrocity was very small, the footage I found was from a small news source that I bumped into n the video it self has barely over 8k views otherwise I wouldn't have even know that it happened n that was my issue, this should've taken the world by storm n it didn't. It was in the limelight for barley a week before everyone collectively moved on.

It warms my heart to see the care and the love you have for comics and these redesigns. And you healed something in my heart by hearing someone else in the nonbinary/trans community get upset and put into words about how silent ppl are being outside our community about these continued deaths. You know the funny thing about original Safespace's powers?.. it can actually be perfectly balanced if his gimmick was that he was a Knight. Like knights in fairy tales have been depicted as heros who defend people... so why not make that his gimmick. Give him a white armour with pink highlights, a sword and a shield, and he can be a perfect support hero that protects civilians and Heros during a battle.

I'm reading this comments & oh my gosh I've never seen such ass kissing in my life towards such a conceited concept... it seems very suspicious I see NO criticism in here at all like you got rid of them. I don't know. The whole thing from the start was terrible. Like the Trailblazer whole section was disrespectful to the entire character, you basically erased the ENTIRE character, something you did for them all but hers was the most egregious. The entire section with your commentary was so cringe inducing. All you did was make all "OCs" and then piggyback them off premade bases from professionals. The original team failed to market mainly because OF Snowflake & Safespace mishandling with their designs & powers. You gave Safespace top dreads... bruh... You gave Snowflake an afro & bellbottoms with a fur collar cape, then disco themelike ... WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! You should've just kept 'Space with the low cut Ceasar & 'Flake's afro is only going to work if there's a new hair design every issue, because afros are corny cop outs. I just am biased & really get really irritated with current artists & creators trying to design Black characters when they're NOT Black... it's too much pandering & stereotypical BS. Y'all really be doing some subconscious racist bullchit. My idea to improve Screen-Time is if the guy was paralized and needed a wheelchair to move around. Because he is so so smart he creates this heavilly advanced hover chair (picture the CW version of the Thinker) that allows him to using VR technology enter the digital world in order to essentially hack anything. However because in the real world he is still paralysed he wants to stay in the digital realm as long as possible because in the real world he feels like he is weak and broken and it’s only through the love and friendship of the new warriors that he learns to accept who he is. I think it’s an interesting way of tackling the “young kids are addicted to their phones” without coming off as boomerish and whilst also talking about the struggles of disabled people.

The thing I hate about the comic was that it had some really cool elements that I would love to read about. The twins had cool powers and could go through some awesome character growth, B-negative spoke to my 12 year old emo oc heart, trailblazer could be really good for taking bigger women in media more seriously, and while I didn't like the tech guy something cool could be done. But it very much felt like it wasn't being made for the right reasons. The names alone made me feel like they just did it for money and were so upset that they had to (which they didnt.) Very much a Velma vibe. Conpemt for their target audience.

I'd like my own two cents to this stuff. In particular, I have some thought some thoughts involving B-Negative. I think that while he isn't the most well developed beyond being a rehash of Morbius, the *living vampire* himself, I feel like they could have at least tried to make something interesting with a character that has a moniker as cringe-worthy as "B-Negative". 1. He could have been more akin to Blade. 2. He could have more of a Carnage-like inspiration. 3. He could have something to do with negativity, because you know, "B-Negative." 4. A mashup of these ideas, any kind of mashup. Like a pairing of one and two, or one and three, or two and three, or just all three of the ideas combined. In fact, just for the fun-filled hell of it, he could even start out as a temporary bad-guy. Maybe even the first one they defeat.

Great vid I think this book would have been a satire of sorts. Think about it like this, these guys are the CRADLE back team from the event AKA the bad guys i think they are a commentary about how big coperate entities try to profit off of "wokeness". The New Warriors are a controversial team in the marvel universe. They once upon a time were the "hip edgy cool team of the 90s".....then their reality show shenanigans lead to the first Civil War so i think it is probably "good PR" in universe. I also think there would have been great commentary on how "rebellious youths" eventually become"the man" themselves. Of course I may just be delusional and I am giving them too much credit

Thank God this Never happened. The good name of the New Warriors has been besmirched enough as it is . Marvel has tried to relaunch this title at least 3 other times now. The original was fantastic and was a matter of the right team at the right time. I just don’t feel a title like that would work today and besides All of the original characters are either dead or have been aged up and are now all adults. Essentially all we would have are new characters with an old Name.

Especially the latter, I already know he'd quickly become my favorite. His light based design is soooo cool, and I always do love robots. No don’t apologize! Thank you for leaving such an in depth comment I always love reading what ppl thought of the video especially when they really enjoy it so thank for taking the time! I’m also glad to hear that the final section was informative since part of my goal with this video was to reach the ears of ppl who weren’t already aware. As for ur question I did consider filling B-Negative with a character that felt more in line with the other 4 in-terms of name sake, unfortunately no clear strong idea hit me, maybe rename him to EdgeLord lol and have his powers be more shadow based since I think that’s cool lol
