I bought a new 8’ box blade and immediately pretzeled up the tree point attachment. I welded in some new reinforcements and put it back to work leveling 7 acres of future pasture.

Hello from the Netherlands and thanks for the video Andrew . the petrol price here at the pump is now € 2.49 per liter. I think that's a lot more than with you in the US haha. I'm glad I just do everything by bicycle a Redbull only costs €1.49 hahaha

I might have to start running Redbull in my truck!

Shank, Teeth, Ripper, Scarifier. All kinds of names! Mine are now all bent since last weekend, they didn’t really hold up well.

@@Andrewactual Not knocking you! Sometimes it pays to go over the ground gradually in a couple passes instead of giving it everything all at once!

@@Darryl603 didn’t take it as a knock! I found that with the bounce of the tractor I was just moving the high spots around out in the pasture area. I’ll have another video done in a couple weeks where you’ll kinda see that. There is just so many small roots and what not in the ground still that the box gets clogged and it doesn’t properly re-disperse soil. I’m definitely trying to do it too fast as well.

@@Darryl603 Thank you for the advice. I might go try to knock the high spots down one more time and take it slower.

@@Andrewactual Maybe scrape the top soil or root layer with the skid steer or bucket loader where you need some hard pack for driveways and staging. Then the box blade. I like what you did with the gravel

Good ole agri supply Petersburg. I like to meet up with ya sometime and give ya a hand. I’m working on a little attachment for a customer of mine in surry va. It’s a 6’6” grading beam for the excavators he has on rent from me.
@Andrewactual2 жыл бұрын
Is that beam something your client will grip with the bucket and thumb or attach to the dozer blade? I’m 100% working on getting this property running but as soon as I get my shed built and power to it I’m going to need to build something, I’m having fabrication withdrawals. Keep in contact.
