junkyards here actually remove the engine commonly. There are a few that they didn't do it with. But since most yunkyards are self service stops, you can't find any cars at a decent enough state. And is missing more than usual. I sometimes go there to get some parts for my car

ALOT of cars have 2 driveshafts, when they have 4WD/AWD. But having the axle go all the way from the back isnt "normal, they usualy part in the midle of the vechile. But beeing a vechile focused for racing/fast driving and doing that making the weight more evenly, i can see why they did it.

With front engined RWD or AWD cars you have to have 2 driveshafts and with a Dual Clutch you have to have 2 input shafts for the gearbox as well

An easy way to see if the engine has oil is to look under the engine for the oil pan and if it doesn’t have one it doesn’t have fuel
