In this video, we embark on a DIY journey to repair a wrecked Seadoo Jet Ski hull using fiberglass. We first pull the engine to gain access to the inside of the hull to do a proper repair. Join us as we walk you through the step-by-step process of fixing damages and cracks, restoring the jet ski to its former glory. From assessing the extent of the damage to applying fiberglass resin and reinforcing the hull, we cover it all.

That eye hook in a beam reminds me of my parent's old house. My grandfather did the same thing in the garage and it was used fairly often. I picked up a complete 302 Ford engine with a C4 trans attached to it! 😂 I was kinda worried, but it worked! Good luck with the rebuild, and hopefully you can get it ready for fun this summer!

i have a suggestion for you, and that is now that you have the Jet Ski engine out i,d say try turn the jetski over so the under neath will be easier to work on. lie it on either blocks of wood or used vehicle tyres it,l be fine to do so.

We tried but it’s still too heavy. If we had an engine hoist on front we could probably spin it. Flipped over would be so much easier to work on.

Hey Tyler and hi to your dad ye u mentioned a engine hoist maybe google it and see what u find im sure you,d be amazed what shows up. Have fun on the seadoo jetski as im very keen to see how it turns out.

Well, the hook got the job done, if not easily. Glassing isn't that hard to do with a bit of practice. Always remember that fiberglass is not friendly to your lungs, wear masks and gloves throughout working with it and you'll be fine. Good job so far!

2:20... That eye will be fine lol. A dressed GM LS is less than 500 lbs. ;} That engine is maybe 100.
