﴿مِنَ الَّذينَ هادوا يُحَرِّفونَ الكَلِمَ عَن مَواضِعِهِ وَيَقولونَ سَمِعنا وَعَصَينا وَاسمَع غَيرَ مُسمَعٍ وَراعِنا لَيًّا بِأَلسِنَتِهِم وَطَعنًا فِي الدّينِ وَلَو أَنَّهُم قالوا سَمِعنا وَأَطَعنا وَاسمَع وَانظُرنا لَكانَ خَيرًا لَهُم وَأَقوَمَ وَلكِن لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِكُفرِهِم فَلا يُؤمِنونَ إِلّا قَليلًا﴾ [النساء: ٤٦] Among the Jews are those who distort words from their [proper] places [i.e., usages] and say, "We hear and disobey" and "Hear but be not heard" and "Rāʿinā," twisting their tongues and defaming the religion. And if they had said [instead], "We hear and obey" and "Wait for us [to understand]," it would have been better for them and more suitable. But Allāh has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few. - Saheeh International ﴿يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ أوتُوا الكِتابَ آمِنوا بِما نَزَّلنا مُصَدِّقًا لِما مَعَكُم مِن قَبلِ أَن نَطمِسَ وُجوهًا فَنَرُدَّها عَلى أَدبارِها أَو نَلعَنَهُم كَما لَعَنّا أَصحابَ السَّبتِ وَكانَ أَمرُ اللَّهِ مَفعولًا﴾ [النساء: ٤٧] O you who were given the Scripture, believe in what We have sent down [to Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)], confirming that which is with you, before We obliterate faces and turn them toward their backs or curse them as We cursed the sabbath-breakers. And ever is the matter [i.e., decree] of Allāh accomplished. - Saheeh International

Abu Huraira (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu) reported: Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying: When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him (for the deceased). [Sahih Muslim - Book 13 - Hadith 4005] Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “O you who believe! Spend of that with which We have provided for you, before a Day comes when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession. And it is the disbelievers who are the Zaalimoon (wrongdoers)” [al-Baqarah 2:254] Below given are some good actions and deeds that which will outlive you Insha Allah. 1. Donate and/or actively participate in building of a Mosque. 2. Building or donating to build an Orphanage. 3. Raising, full or part sponsoring an orphan. ( Orphan Sponsorship ) 4. Teach someone to recite Quran, and everytime they recite quran, you will get hasanat, even after your death. And if your student teaches quran to another person, and everytime this other person read Qur’an, you still will get hasanat from his recitation, even after you have long died until the end of this world. 5. Give copies of the Holy Quran and each time they read from it, you will receive Hasanat. 6. Donating to build a school. When the students use the knowledge they receive from the school, you get hasanat, even after you have died. 7. Give away Islamic reading materials. 8. Teach someone to recite Dua and/or Dhikr ( Remembrance of Allah ) and each time it is recited, you will gain Hasanat. 9. Share via online or give Dua or Quran CDs and every time it is recited you will gain Hasanat. 10. Donate wheel chair to Hospital and when sick persons use it you will gain Hasanat. 11. Building or donating to build a Dispensary, Hospital 12. Help a child to continue his or her Education. 13. Donate to dig and build water wells or construct water tanks and when people use this well or tank you will receive Hasanat. ( Help build water wells or construct water tanks ) 14. Plant trees or donate for this cause, each time people or animals sits under the shade or eats from these trees, we will gain hasanat, even after you have died. 15. Place a water cooler in a public place. Each time people drink water from it, you will gain hasanat. Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu anhu) reported: Allah’s Messenger (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: He who called (people) to righteousness, there would be reward (assured) for him like the rewards of those who adhered to it, without their rewards being diminished in any respect. [Sahih Muslim - Book #034 - Hadith #6470 Share or email this post with your relatives and our Muslim brothers and sisters. If any of the above points is applied by them. You will receive your Hasanat and You will continue to receive Hasanat until the day of judgment (if the deeds are continued)

It is indeed possible to attain a pure nafs. Sayyidina Muhammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وصحبه وسلم) has a pure nafs. The pinnacle of tazkiyah is baqa billâh, followed by fana fi Illâh. That is when the "me" is to be done for the sake and pleasure of Allâh Almighty. And there's nothing of higher worth Allâh's ridha. May He grant us the tawfiq.
@kimosabe2171
@kimosabe2171 11 ай бұрын
The nafs is of the earthly realm, concerned with the sustenance of the body. It's present in animals, who require the nafsi impulse to survive and procreate. It can never be eliminated, only curtailed and brought under one's control through consistent practices. That is why Allah SWT praises the one who is actively and consistently engaged in the act of purification, as it is not an end goal but a lifestyle we must commit ourselves to. Just like wudu, which cleanses the physical body of impurities 5 times or more a day, tazkiyah is an ongoing process that even our Prophet pbuh, the best of creation, engaged in and made dua for on a consistent basis.

He who recites after every prayer: Subhan-Allah (Allah is free from imperfection) 33 times; Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) 33 times; Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) 33; and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ‘ala kulli shai’in Qadir (there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent), will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea. (Muslim)

*Reward* _for good acts and dhikr_ *in ten days of Dhul Hijja*: ↗️ *The Prophet ﷺ* said, "No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these *(first ten days of Dhul Hijja)."* Then some companions of the Prophet said, "Not even Jihad?" He replied, "Not even Jihad, except that of a man who does it by putting himself and his property in danger (for Allah's sake) and does not return with any of those things." Narrated/Authority of Ibn Abbas *Hadith No 86: Sahih Bukhari.* Chapter 15, The Two Festivals (Eids) *1) Fast any or all nine days* prior to the EID and _especially fast the 9th Day._ The Prophet (PBUH) used to fast on the ninth day of Dhu’l-Hajj and he (SAAWS) said: _“Fasting the 9th Dhul-hajj is an _*_expiation for (all the sins of) the previous year and an expiation for (all the sins of) the coming year.”_*_ (Muslim)_ *2) Do a LOT of Dhikr and Takbeer* The Prophet (PBUH) said: _“There are no days on which good deeds are greater or more beloved to Allah than on these ten days”, _*_so recite much Tahleel (saying Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah), Takbeer (saying Allahu akbar) and Tahmeed (saying al-hamdu Lillaah).”_*_ (Ahmad -Saheeh)_ *3) Standing in Night Prayers: (Tahajud, Qiyam al Layl)* Remember, how in the last third of every night, Allah Almighty calls out to us, His servants: _Is there anyone to call on Me, so that I may answer to his prayer? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him? (Bukhaari, Muslim)_ *4) Make Sincere Repentance* “But as for him who repented, believed and did righteous deeds, then he will be among those who are successful.” _[Al-Qasas 28:67]_ *5) Read Quran* Reciting *Surah Ikhlas* gives you reward *equal to recitation of 1/3rd of The Holy Quran!!!* _Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: A man heard another man reciting, “Say, He is Allah, the One,” (112:1) again and again. The next morning he came to the Messenger of Allah(PBUH) and told him about it, as if he thought it was not enough to recite. The Prophet said, “By the one in whose hand is my soul, it is equal to a third of the Quran.”_ Source: Sahih-al-Bukhari 4726 Grade: *Sahih (authentic)* according to Al-Bukhari *6) Get the reward of Hajj wherever you are:* _“Whoever prays Fajr Prayer in congregation, and then sits and remembers Allah until the sun rises, then (after a while) prays two rak’as, he will gain a reward equal to that of making perfect Hajj and Umrah.” [He repeated the word “perfect” thrice.] (At-Tirmidhi)_ *7) Give charity, do good deeds, worship, praise & thank Allah* _“And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (death).” [Al-Hijr 15:99]_ *Copy and paste this hadith from this link:* justpaste.it/3wq43

Quran: Ultimately, the best dhikr is reading the Quran. Reward: You will be rewarded 10 rewards for each letter read. This prize basically illustrates the weight of the Quran in terms of where it should be in your life and the importance you should give it. Seeking Barakah of the Qur’an is worth more than hustling to increase our social status or profit margins - these things will die with us in this life and will add to nothing to us in the next if they weren’t mindful, done with the right intentions and aligned with our purpose in life. 2. SubhanAllah or SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi (“I praise Allah (or All praise if to Allah) above all attributes that do not suit His Majesty.”) Reward: A tree will be planted for you in Paradise. Nice! Start growing your own forest right now! Another hadith relates that whoever says this 100 times a day, his/her sins will be forgiven even if they were as much as the foam of the sea [Bukhari]. 3. Alhamdulillah (“All praise is for Allah”) Reward: Your scales will be tipped on the Day of Judgment, full of rewards! Abu Malik Al-Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Purity is half of iman (faith). ‘Al-hamdu lillah (all praise and gratitude belong to Allah)’ fills the scales, and ‘subhan-Allah (how far is Allah from every imperfection) and ‘Al-hamdulillah (all praise and gratitude belong to Allah)’ fill that which is between heaven and earth.” [Related by Muslim] 4. SubhanAllah wal hamdulillah, wa la ilahaillAllah wa Allahu akbar “I praise Allah (or All Praise if to Allah) above all attributes that do not suit His Majesty. All praise is for Allah. There is no deity worthy of worship besides Allah. Allah is Great.” Reward: This combination of dhikr is the one most beloved by Allah, subhana wa ta’ala. When you say them, sins fall off of you like leaves off of trees. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “The uttering of the words: “Subhan-Allah (Allah is free from imperfection), Al-hamdu lillah (all praise is due to Allah), La ilaha illallah (there is no true god except Allah) and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)’ is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises.” [Muslim]. Also Anas bin Malik narrated that the Prophet passed by a tree with dry leaves, so he struck it with his staff, making the leaves fall. Then he said: “Indeed, ‘all praise is due to Allah, (Al-Ḥamdulillāhh)’ ‘glory to Allah, (Subḥān Allāh)’ ‘none has the right to be worshipped by Allah, (Lā Ilāha Illallāh)’ and ‘Allah is the greatest (Allāhu Akbar)’ cause the sins to fall from the worshipper, just as the leaves of this tree fall.” [Jami` at-Tirmidhi] 5. La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (“There is no power or might except (by) Allah.”) Reward: You will enter through a special door in Paradise for those who oft use this remembrance. Qais bin Sa`d bin `Ubadah narrated that his father offered him to the Prophet (ﷺ) to serve him. He said: “So the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by me, and I had just performed Salat, so he poked me with his foot and said: ‘Should I not direct you to a gate from the gates of Paradise?’ I said: ‘Of course.’ He (ﷺ) said: ‘There is no might or power except with Allah (Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh).’” [Jami` at-Tirmidhi] 6. SubhanAllah (x33), Alhamdulillah (x33), Allahu akbar (x34) Can be recited after salat and before you go to bed/sleep. (“I praise Allah (or All praise if to Allah) above all attributes that do not suit His Majesty. All praise is to Allah. Allah is Great.”) Reward: We know that this dhikr is said after each salah, but when Fatima the daughter of the Prophet came to her father requesting a servant to help with the household, the Messenger of Allah told her to repeat the dhikr before her sleep and the results would be better than having a servant. Abu Huraira reported that Fatima came to Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) and asked for a servant and told him of the hardship of household work. He said: You would not be able to get a servant from us. May I direct you to what is better than the servant for you? Recite Subhaana Allah thirty-three times, al- Hamdu li-Allah thirty-three times and Allah-o-Akbar thirty-four times as you go to bed. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Suhail with the same chain of transmitters. [Sahih Mulsim] 7. Astaghfirullah (“I seek Allah’s forgiveness”) Reward: You will get protection from Allah’s punishment. In Surah Nuh, ayah 10-12, Allah relates the story of Prophet Nuh and how he instructed his people to seek Allah’s forgiveness. If they would just say “astagfirullah,” Allah would send them rain in abundance, and increase their wealth and children, and give them gardens and rivers in Paradise. “And said, ‘Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers. And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers. [Qur’an 71: 10-12] 8. Ayahtul-Kursi [2:255] “Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.” ‘Allahu laaa ‘ilaaha ‘illaa Huu. ‘Al-Hayyul-Qayyuum. Reward: When you recite this verse before you go to sleep, Allah sends a guardian to you and no shaytan will come to you until morning. Those who read this after each salah shall enter Paradise. Narrated Muhammad bin Sirin: Abu Huraira said, “Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) put me in charge of the Zakat of Ramadan (i.e. Zakat-ul-Fitr). Someone came to me and started scooping some of the foodstuff of (Zakat) with both hands. I caught him and told him that I would take him to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ).” Then Abu Huraira told the whole narration and added “He (i.e. the thief) said, ‘Whenever you go to your bed, recite the Verse of “Al-Kursi” (2.255) for then a guardian from Allah will be guarding you, and Satan will not approach you till dawn.’ ” On that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “He told you the truth, though he is a liar, and he (the thief) himself was the Satan.” [Sahih Al Bukhari]
