@stephenandloriyoung57162 жыл бұрын
It took me a while to realize what song was being played so nicely there. I probably haven't heard it since an earlier century. Thanks for the confirmation. Do my memories of it match yours? What a fellowship, what a joy divine, Leaning on the everlasting arms, What a blessedness, what a peace is mine, Leaning on the everlasting arms. Chorus: Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms, Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms. What have I to dread, what have I to fear, Leaning on the everlasting arms? I have blessed peace with my Lord so near, Leaning on the everlasting arms. Oh how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way, Leaning on the everlasting arms; Oh how bright the path grows from day to day, Leaning on the everlasting arms.

OH, if you know of anyone interested in the 40th anniversary Pontiac Grand Prix V6 with super charger, runs and drives, needs possible main Bering replaced, some interior reinstalled, good rubber, new battery, has dents from kids walking on it yet mostly rust free. Owner is a senior and is confined to a wheel chair and wants to get rid of it. Make an offer I doubt He'll refuse. Edmonton (west side) Alberta. Thanks again Brent.

Brent, here's a true story about a 34 ford sedan. When I was about thirteen years old around 1950, my brother, who was three years older then me, got his driver's license and bought a 34 ford from the man he worked for delivering the morning and evening newspapers. He got a man who had a garage to cut the back out and made sort of a mini-truck out of it so he could haul more papers. One morning we were asked my our blind grandmother to drive about twenty miles and pick up her medication for her eyes. We ran over a rough railroad crossing on the way and dragged the tail pipe and muffler off from the manifold. The damn car made some kind of noise. When we pulled into the city where we were to pick up the medicine, the police stopped us and told us we were violating the noise ordinance and told ud to get that piece of junk out of town. The driver's side window was broken and my brother had cut out a piece of cardboard and fit it in the window because it was cold as the dickens and the car had no heater, and the only heat was what came off the motor and manifold. My brother put a big slug of chewing tobacco in his mouth and we were going about seventy miles per hour on a paved road. He had to spit the tobacco juice out and he opened the suicide door to spit. The wind tore the door off and it went tumbling back behind us. When we got home the damn medicine was frozen and we called the doctor. He told us to dispose of it because it was no longer any good.
