Fixing Anycubic Kobra 3 problems: easy motherboard replacement tutorial

I am curious to know what your problems were. I am struggling with random z banding and my nozzle digging into the build plate. I also find it odd that the z offset changes with every print.

I wasn't able to get it to print via the network at all. I didn't really get to the point where I could even test print quality (and haven't yet -- just got it fixed). I printed one test print off of the USB stick, which was fine, but super simple. Beyond that, nothing would transmit to the printer. I will say I've been tracking a lot of other people talking about the Kobra 3 and I'm not hearing a lot of people saying what you're saying. Have you checked in the Facebook group? Seems pretty active.

I'm trying to replace the motherboard for mine, and I don't have a grounding wire.

That's so weird. I wonder if they just left it out on yours. You could, conceivably, just run a wire from that screw to a ground point somewhere inside. I've closed mine up and hope to not have to open it again, so I can't tell you where that might be. Maybe reach out to AnyCubic?

@AdvancedGeekery i got it to work without the groundwire. i removed the power supply and the motherboard, and most of the covers from the bottom, and there was no ground wire.
