Fixing Common problems on VV Up! - MOT preparation + First Modification 🚙

there were a number of things i needed to sort out and fix on my car but just never got round to it. in this video i will be showing out how i repair some of the easiest things to do so that my car can pass its next mot test!
1 - how to replace front drive shaft axle - remove the wheel and the 2 bottom ball joint bolts and the main hub nut which will allow the driveshaft to come out. a few hits with a hammer are essential but just dont make sure you damage the threads. its a quick and easy swap our for the old and in with the new
2 - how to replace the fuel flap - a very common issue on these cars is that the fuel lid cover snaps off and breaks. its surprisingly easy to replace and literally just pulls out and the replacement unit just presses back into place
3 - replacing interior dash vent - again literally the old one just pulls out of place and the new one presses into place, nice and easy!
4 - how to replace the windscreen washer pump. the windscreen washers stopped working after freezing up in icy conditions, after removing a few bolts from the arch liner, it gives you access to pull out the pump unit. theres just 2 hoses and 1 connector cable which need removing which again is very quick and easy! this replacement pump didnt work either so i checked the fuses and the fuse seemed fine too so no idea what the issue is... oh well!
5 - then finally, i installed some alloy wheels with some new tyres which was well overdue! the current tyres on the car were very old, about 12 years old and were very perished due to wear and cracking all over. this was quickly sorted by replacing the boring 14 inch steel wheels with some new 15 inch alloy wheels which really did set off the car. not bad for the first modification!!

Im pretty sure that caramel latte that came out after the driveshaft not normal. But i could be wrong.
