The Titans fire sale.. 😏 Just don't see Vrabel tanking and losing, he's a players coach and nearly got his team into the playoffs without starting QB, LT and Edge rusher. They have already cut 4 players to get under the cap. Titans need to rebuild O-Line and get young WR who can separate and form a tandem with Burks. I don't think they will cut Tannehill this year, but could part ways end of next year as Willis isn't ready and Carr too expensive as FA. Titans should extend Simmons and resign David Long. Draft franchise LT, 2nd round WR or best available TE and an edge to replace Dupree, late round LB or backup safety.

I’m fine with Ridder. IMO I would love for Atlanta to take their pick of the top 2 corners. Richardson has the fit and the traits but he is rawer than uncooked chicken, CJ determines how mobile he is. Because I’m not going to call him a dual threat after one game in the CFP,

I think the Jags should draft a receiver on day 1 or 2 because I really like the idea of having a WR who is around the same age as your young QB

We definitely need a young wr to develop. Too many pressing needs on defense to use the first pick or maybe even the 2nd. I was thinking round 3.

The most fair comparison for C. J. Stroud is Steve McNair. He is the best QB in the draft and 4 rounds ahead of Levis. 1. Stroud 2. Young 3. Hooker 4. Richardson 5. McKee is my top 5 and still have Bennett Duggan over Levis

We Titans fans are tired of Tanny, for 3 seasons he has underperformed in the playoffs. He blew 2021 chances. Our win now window is closed. The best move for the team long term people don't want to do. Trade Tanny, use those picks to help build the team. Trade back from 11 to the 18-22 range if possible picking up more picks and having 3 2nds. Get another WR ( Zay Flowers), target Darnell Wright. Leave the draft with 2 WRs, 2 OL and a CB. Roll Malik next year. He either makes improvements and trends up to be the guy or he sucks and we are in prime position to get Williams or Maye next draft. It's a win/win this way. If we go Tanny next year we will be picking even lower and lose a lot of flexibility #11 gives us this year. Or make the move for a QB this year.

Steve is right, there is no way you are going to tank with Mike Vrabel as your Head Coach. And if he does not want to tank there is no way the Titans will do that. He is the most important and valuable person in that organization and from everything you could hear, he was heavily involved in the hiring process of the gm, therefore i dont think Ran would have gotten the job if he proposed a tanking strategy for the team.

Brain Burns and the 9th overall pick for the 1st overall pick? Get the QB focus on edge on the future drafts?

Actually like this. With Carter proving to be kind of an idiot, I'm not as gung-ho about staying in the top 5. Burns gives them a blue chip d-line player and they can get an offensive player at 9. Would try to get next year's first just for insurance but wouldn't hate it without it.

Let’s be honest. You guys purposely skipped us (Titans) that year like draft coverages go to commercial at our pick and seldom come back to recap it. And I would rather you guys just omit it than waste a segment where you put zero effort into the content; with stupid riffs by Sam who has the energy of someone who wants a bump or missed his kratom and insists “blow it up” to avoid intelligent discussion. Sam is pumping his leg under the table like the rabbit Thumper in Bambi. Yikes. Titans fans, we “get it” but us and NFL fans deserve better. And I love you guys. But riffing on the Redskins for over a minute? Please No. Also, getting Jimmy G and cutting Tannehill still equals a cap hit of 35-36M without shenanigans, which ties you to Carr too long. Trey Lance. Ridiculed. I know people want us to make the worst moves possible, but enough. Willis needs cut. Keeping Tanny on extension and saving $20M, spending 2 of the first 3 picks on OL. Trade down and pick up a few extra picks. Add Hopkins or Jakobi Meyers and draft a WR on day two. Something. Geez. What an aimless segment. Or just say “the Titans aren’t worth our time. We don’t wanna do it.” We all know they hamstrung themselves by not committing more to the pass and it’s been that way since the Fisher days. But it’s not the fans’ fault.

1. If you're the Bears, I'm not sure 2 + 33 moves the needle compared to the multiple 1st rounders and more they'd get from teams like the Colts, Panthers, (maybe) Raiders. I know the charts suggest it "shouldn't" be that much, but with how active the market seems to be it'll be a very steep price for a team who has hoarded all of the draft assets and needs to reset a roster for a new Head Coach. 2. Houston's going to free up a good chunk of cap space pretty quick via the Cooks trade, a Tunsil Extension and a couple cuts. That effective cap should jump to $40-50 mil in a hurry.

Texans ain't trading up to number 1 cos Bears wouldn't get enough of a haul from them to make it worth their while
@thevoxdeus
@thevoxdeus Жыл бұрын
The difference in value between pick #1 and pick #2 is roughly a mid 2nd round pick. The difference between pick #1 and pick #4 is about the 12th overall pick. Assuming there's no bidding war, the most that the Bears are likely to get without missing both of the elite defensive line guys might be something like Indy's #1 pick next year, plus something else (this year's 4th or next year's 3rd, maybe). So the Texans could definitely pull it off without giving up anything premium this year or leaving themselves threadbare next year. *if* they love Bryce Young and they see a huge drop off to the next best guy, then it makes sense to do it. If the Bears want the 12th overall pick plus #2, then that's too rich to move up one spot, but no one else can offer that either, so the Bears can't demand it.

@@thevoxdeus that's why I don't think the Bears even entertain the Texans...if your the Bears I would rather trade to someone like the Panthers or Raiders for as many picks as possible because their roster isn't a guy away it's half a team away from competing

The more I consume dedicated local media coverage of my team, the less interested I become in PFF’s takes. As the years go on, it’s becoming more and more apparent that PFF is just like any other out-of-touch national media coverage. Disappointing.

In a strange turn of events I see neither Texans OR Colts getting QBs early. As you said, Demeco Ryans is a DEFENSIVE mind, and a big DE/ DT (I would go DT but w/e) is MUCH more useful to them than a replacement to their already decent QB- also word is Ryans wants an athletic QB so I'd SAVE their draft capital and stay at 2, use that capital to trade up with 12 to get Richardson. As for the Colts sure they need a QB but give ANY QB a hole in the Oline like they have and that QB will a) look worse b) eventually wear down. Ballard knows this, he knows this first hand! I see them targeting Skoronski but they'll likely take any OT they can get (yes they need an IOL BUT the market just isn't there this draft... Skoronski IMO is the best option to kick to RG though IMO) I like them to trade down with Atl who's absolutely frothing for a QB THAN since the texans need a top 10 pick to get Richardson trade down again to 12. I BELIEVE Skoronski will drop to 12 but even if not I see the other OTs as great RTs and kick Braden Smith to RG. Plus in this scenario the Texans can include Cooks to get that upgrade :). Do the Colts still need a QB? sure, but I'm pretty sure Mckee will be there at 35 or they can just bandage it up for 1 more year (I like Jaren Hall IMO he's a prototypical Jalen Hurts type that their new HC can do wonders with).

Ryans is not making the pick, Caserio is. I don't think ownership will sign off on a long term tank which will happen if they don't address QB. And who is the decent QB you speak of on their roster??
@pdraggy
@pdraggy Жыл бұрын
@@BigPat216 I'm a Colts fan lol Davis is a HELL of a lot better than what we'd been throwing out there for the last 2 seasons (3 if you skip Phillip Rivers). Anyway they'll address QB with their next pick (getting Richardson) I see you didn't read my post, "so I'd SAVE their draft capital and stay at 2, use that capital to trade up with 12 to get Richardson.". (it was in the very first paragraph! Kids these days...) If Ryans thinks he could do a better job with Richardson, than Caserio will pick Richardson that's how the whole GM- HC mechanic works. It's a draft board assembled by a team, the GM gets the last word yes, but he wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't take the HC's opinion into account. But it's just my opinion and all :)

As a Falcon fan i don't like any of Steve and Sam's choices for us. QB at 8? No. It should be CB/OL or trade back. Ridder's four games were him not taking his opportunity and should be ditched? Nonsense. He improved every week. Davenport? No thank you. Too expensive and too injury prone. AJ didn't have a good season? Wrong. We should let McGary walk. No, we should offer him a 2/3yr deal. PFF can be oddly out of touch sometimes.
