The ol #coloradok10 is coming along pretty good, but she needs some help in the exterior looks department! In todays episode we try and bring back some old, worn out paint and see if she can shine just one more time!

Great vids guy . I really enjoy your content. I bought a 82 k15 high Sierra about a year ago. and I put in windshield, dash pad , new rear hangers and shackles. Middle of installing 2 in lift. Oh I saw you had a g body I've had 7 of em. watch for frame rust starting at rear frame wheel well to back bumper. I live in Ohio and I don't see em anymore. Great cars great content. subscribed. This absolutely great to see a young man like yourself fixing up this old truck, most your age wouldn't know how to change a tire because they play to many video games. I had a 79 k10 when I was about your age and loved turning wrenches on it. I'm now 51 and just picked up a 1985 to start redoing. GREAT JOB YOUNG MAN.

Just wanted to put an encouraging post on here. I watched this video sometime back and look forward to the next update. It is really good quality videos with information your putting out. I enjoy all the car shows on tv I can get. But KZbin stuff like this is so much better. No drama and fluff. Just good stuff. I like seeing how you repair everything to the best you can and stop to do it the right way with what we you have to do that with, the best you can. I often feel rushed and when an expected discovery comes up in a simple task I have to band aid it and come back later. I have a c20 with original paint and low miles that’s an 84. I really enjoy the truck along with a few others I have. A 79k20, 72 gmc, 92 ram w150 and an 84 Camaro z28. All my stuff are driver condition and realistic enjoyable vehicles. Keep it up

Hmm... weighing the money spent on the body vs just paying a good body shop to paint the truck... Well the body shop would obviously cost a lot more but the work and money you've put into it would still take a big bite out of that price. I have an 87 long bed chevy and I was quoted $4k for a "factory" quality finish at a reputable body shop. Maybe you've spent roughly $500 so far?

Honestly it was pretty cheap to do the paint restoration, I only went through about a bottle and a half of compound and polish, and half a bottle of ceramic wax. It doesn’t look as good as a new paint job would but the truck definitely shines. Eventually I’ll get her painted once all the mechanical issues are worked out🤙🏻
