I really love the All Star changes, especially the sprint tackle. I like how he acts as the wall, but also the wall breaker. Ps: maybe keep the armor on the Engis turret. Compared to sun beam and pea gatling, he has a MUCH larger hitbox, stickin out like a sore thumb. He would kinda need a little help.

@@enchilordo8562 Makes sense to keep the armour for him, but I felt like having an indestructible shield that covers the front half of him did enough, at least from my time using it. I will keep the Cannon Rodeo’s armour though, as it DESPERATELY needs it lol

I think most of the ideas here are pretty good, but I believe some need changing. 1st of all, there is no point getting rid of the sticky explody ball. If you're removing it based on spite, you're not doing a good job desigining a game. Also, some of your problems can be solved really easily, like not having desync or making the hitbox larger. Perhaps it has more of a use as an ambush weapon instead of just throwing them mid battle and getting free damage. To that end, they should have an arming time, perhaps 2 seconds, so that they won't explode until then. Also, they could have damage drop off. To make up for these points, they can do some more max-damage (like 75). Edit: I actually really like this change. Adding an arming time allows for a little more aggressive scientists/a different playstyle, but still doesn't give them too much of a push towards offense. I think your changes to the heal stations are interesting, but the armored heal station would be hard to implement and unintuitive. Which zombies should be taking damage, the one who placed it down, or the ones in it, and how will it scan that? Also, that doesn't really fit with what someone would expect from a healing station; why would it heal you less? Either it shouldn't change its healing, or it should heal more based on some criterion. I think it could have a much larger cool down time and only survive for like 15 seconds. That should be enough, but if it is still too op, perhaps it actually heals slowly, but if it detects a plant within a large radius, then it increases its healing rate. Perhaps it could even increase it more as more plants are detected, up to some limit. I agree with you that the support characters should be encouraged to support their teammates. I really like how you took the ebility slots into consideration when redesigning the scientist! I think the Big Bolt Blaster could also have that effect that Battle for Neighborville has, which gives yourself and other zombies in the range infinite ammo. However, obviously, the acutal bolt blaster won't have infinite ammo, as that would be OP. I agree with @enchilordo8562 about keeping the armor for the BBB, as it is a bigger hitbox. In my head and my personal "canon" GW3 there wouldn't be sprinting, as I think that was overall a bad addition to the game, the jackhammer would be an ability. With that, I think the Turbo Jackhammer could perhaps also give surrounding zombies a boost? But that might overlap with Hovergoat, so idk about that. I personally think that things like the bean bomb and the ump punt _should_ push players around, but that's a small thing. I also really like your changes to the sprint tackle and the ultra tackle, as it does give some use to the ultra tackle while not making the sprint tackle useless. Keep up the good work!

What is bad about sprinting? I mean yeah in BFN it is very annoying but only because it can be used without consequences or thinking at all. With a stamina meter that drains rapidly with damage though, it adds a degree of commitment to fights while also making long treks from your spawn to objectives a little less annoying, like what he added in the first video.

@@Diesel-wh1th It creates two levels of game design: one with no sprinting, and one with it, which makes it difficult to balance. I saw the first video as well, and I think a better solution would be to just make the treks a bit shorter, rather than adding sprinting.

Wow, somehow I missed this comment, and it’s very insightful! I will admit that in the video, I played up the removal of the Explody Ball for a funny moment, and not for optimal game design. Realistically, I would implement what you suggested here, with the actually functioning hitbox, arming period, and also explosion radius damage falloff. For the Armoured Heal Station, It should be a simple enough system to code I’d imagine. Since the game already uses timing-based events to trigger things like health regeneration as a whole, an invisible countdown could expire after the short delay to make people not compatible with the boosted healing. Logic-wise, similar situations happen with the healing hose in BFN with a certain upgrade iirc, where it heals players faster when they’re at low health. The Big Bolt Blaster (or Heavy Helper in BFN) is, as implied through the names, a separate ability from the other, so I will be covering it in the next video! For the mounted ability, I guess it could make sense to keep the armour (perhaps even update the design to make it look like the Engineer is being protected more by it), as I may have overestimated the hitbox protection. The objects pushing others I put in a position of logic, as being dragged against your will by an imp or bean makes the player feel a lot flimsier than they should be. Thank you for the very valid criticism! Unfortunately I didn’t see this sooner, as you had some great points to make!

@@apuji7555Regarding shorter trips to the objective, I don’t think that’s a great idea, because in an effort to accommodate for players to get to the objective faster, it’s killing long-range characters by artificially closing the gap between sniping spots and the objective. BFN made the mistake of making the treks themselves longer, as then it just recreated the same issue lol. By letting players sprint in a GW2-sized map, it will allow every character to cover the distance they need while keeping long-range players happy with large sight lines. Stamina to prevent cowardly players fixes the other issue with BFN!

@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast I'm guessing you're only talking about turf for the walks to the points, because in other gamemodes, the map is the perfect size (except for z-tech factory). Also, the point zgypt on seeds of time makes zombies walk through a giant open area before getting to a spot that they can snipe from, so that can just be removed. A lot of points for turf maps like seeds of time 1st point already spawn plants right in front of where fights are, so they don't need sprinting at all. For attackers, you have to walk for miles on almost every point in the game, and this was supposed to be fixed by teleporters, but they can only put attackers in to 1 position, and make the game a bottleneck. So, the only 2 choices for attackers are 1: walk 80 miles to the point, or 2: go through 1 area only, and never attack from a different direction. Sprinting is just another fix that would make you move through the long areas, but it still makes them annoying, instead of just removing them. For example, on great white north 1st point, the spot that snipers go to is the big ice spike in the back, but if the spawn was moved up past that, then they can just go back to it, or the map can be changed to move the ice spike up to In front of the spawn, which would be basically the same spot. The only reason snipers even go to that spot is because it is perfect for headglitching, due to the amount of cover it provides. If any other object had cover, then snipers would go there. This proves that snipers wouldn't be ruined by moving the spawn up. Also, most of the time, snipers snipe from where the teleporter takes them, or a bit behind it, except for moon base z 1st point, or the really bad teleporter spawns.

What I’d do for the sticky bomb:instead of outright removing it, I’d make it have a larger hitbox and make it take much longer to detonate. The only other change I’d possibly make besides those two would be a one that makes them not explode after a certain amount of time, if they don’t already do that (I forgot). This makes the ability be more like a sticky trap, and less like a spammy thing you just throw.

Sorry I missed your comment! What I’d realistically do (I intentionally played up the moment), is give them an arming period where if they’re destroyed before they’re armed, they break and do no damage. I’d also fix the hitbox and give them radius damage falloff.

Okay, if I were to actually balance it, I’d make its detection range larger than the blast range so people can’t stumble into one out of their control (you have absolutely no way of telling if there’s one around a corner until it’s too late), and makes sure that the people who trigger it were already in line to fully step on it. I’d also give it radius damage falloff, going down to 15 damage at the very edge of the blast zone.

I DESPISE Stun Grenade and Imp Punt, so seeing them get neutered is satisfying. Also, maybe instead of just removing the stickybombs, maybe give them to someone else or modify them or even do both

I’d just make them so they’re not as overtuned as they are no, like reducing the blast size, damage, and giving them a proper arming time do they can be destroyed without exploding.

Well, just wait for when I make the new abilities... Okay, but actually I don't want the damage to be buffed because having them do more would take away the magic of getting a vanquish with it. You feel invincible knowing that you vanquished someone with a _one-damage attack,_ instead of something like 5 or ten.

I disagree a bit on how you designed the engineer. Nerfing the sonic granade is fair, but I don't really like the idea of keeping the bolt blaster and making the turbo jackhammer an ability- Engineer is a support character, and I imagine that a engineer class should specialize in building gadgets and placings things on the field so other team members can use them, which is what BfN tried to do, and I really liked that. The heavy helper is a bit too insane tho, with the infinite ammo, shooting automatically and higher rate of fire- so nerfing it would be a good call. The idea with the turbo jackhammer is essensially just double time except that only the engineer can use it, which i'm not the biggest fan. I think it would be better if the entire team could capitalize from the engineer's abilities. An idea i had for the heal station is that the regular heal station lasts longer, has a larger AoE and heals more health overall, but it has a slower rate of healing, while the variant version of the heal station has a smaller AoE, heals much faster, but heals less HP overall. The idea is that the regular heal station is better suited for team healing while the variant is better for solo use

I’ll be real here, the Engineer is such a weirdly designed character. I the next part especially he’ll become a lot more versatile with his gizmos, and I’ll buff the double time to make it more enticing for the engineers to use. I’d imagine that you’d get 4-ish seconds of super speed with the jackhammer, and then it expires. The double time would give you a reusable speed boost that may not be as fast initially as the jackhammer, but the value you get after multiple uses would far outweigh it in the long run.

All star is going to become a very broken class, like how he is in BFN, because the reduced cool downs on imp punt and sprint tackle make him able to just use them in every fight to reduce the hp of opponents by 75-100, without having to worry about not having the abilities later. This is why I think abilities that deal a lot of damage should have very long cool downs, like ultra tackle, so you can't spam them in every fight. If there are BFN like upgrades as well, then cool down reduction like Incendiary on swoop slam will make the ability too good, no matter how little damage it deals, because it just makes every character have less hp.

I just checked, and Imp Punt has the same cooldown in BFN as it does in GW2, it’s just the sprint tackle. I do believe that it can afford to get a cooldown change to also be 20-25 seconds.

I was hoping the jack hammer would be replaced by the heavy helper from BFN because I like the engineer more with a placeable sentry gun. It puts him more in line with the likes of the TF2 engineer. To make it less busted(because lord knows it is)you could probably remove the aura and give the engineer the ability to upgrade it like he could upgrade the turrets in GW1. If you upgrade it and replace it to restore its health, it will remain upgraded, but if it's destroyed you will have to re-upgrade it. The base form could be the standard fire rate and function of the Heavy Helper in BFN, the first upgrade could increase its health and accuracy, and the final upgrade could increase its damage, and give it the combat buff aura from BFN, albeit heavily toned down. If you really wanted to, you could have it act as a stand in for the Big Bolt Blaster, IE you have to choose between having a gatling ability, or a sentry turret. The big bolt blaster would be a lot more useful for aggro engineers who focus on damage and such, while the heavy helper would benefit engineers who prefer a far more defensive play style like me.

Agree with almost everything, but the healing stations seems a bit off. May I ask what the total healing and time would be for each? Doesn’t need to be exact, but I feel like with these changes everyone would just use the armoured one always since it’s almost always a strictly better version. Though maybe I still have the damage-dealer mindset of scientists in mind, since a support would probably use it defensively much more often than the current scientists

From start to finish, the regular Heal Station will give out 140 HP’s worth of healing (7HP/s for 20 seconds). At its lowest rate, the Armoured one will heal only 30 HP (2HP/s for 15 seconds) At the maximum however, it will heal 300 HP (20HP/s for 15 seconds). The fast rate is offset by the fact that you need to be taking constant damage for this to apply.

@@fearlessgabe1509 Yeah, pretty much, but unlike Chomper, Engineer has the range and versatility to afford the nerf. The bad Engineers that rely on it will be appropriately buffed in the future!

@@12bjorn34 That's what I was going for. Sure EMPeach still does the same thing in my GW3, minus the damage, but at least it has a windup before the stun happens.

@@12bjorn34 nah, it depends on the variant, don't forget there is a .75s switch back delay so it's Less powerful when alone. Moves like imp punt and ZPG are a lot more like insta win buttons.

I feel like the zpg change (although questionable in terms of “where the fuck do you see the problem”, because missing the point blank zpg is far more common than you believe due to the jank behind how the projectile spawns and how it starts extremely slow but fully accelerates to Mach fuck after 1 second of flight. Usually resulting in your death after the miss because the startup and end lag barely put you a little under the average TTK of the plants team) is on the right track but trips just before the finish line, here’s how I would do what you are trying to do with it: The ZPG keeps its flight and spawn properties, however, after one too many CQC ZPG incidents zomboss grew tired of having to reassemble the scattered limbs of his “elite” troops and mandated the safety mechanism of the ZPG be reinstalled (when asked why the ZPGS even had these mechanisms, Zomboss gave the press the following statement “The ZPG was totally my idea and not something I stole from the militaries I crushed with my undying army” then threw said press into the ocean.) giving the ZPG projectiles a minimum arming distance that must be reached before the projectile will arm its explosive warhead. So anyways, the zpg will deal it’s normal 300 direct hit damage once it arms after max flight speed is reached (if I fucked up and it doesn’t have a max speed and just accelerates forever then I will correct this by making the explosive arm after 1-1.5 seconds of flight, or however long it takes the zpg to go from “noticeably slow” to “he zooming” speeds), but before then the zpg will not arm and just bonk the plant it hits, however depending on its current speed it can go from damage comparable to thrown shoes to actually one shoting plants with low enough HP because of a thing I like to call “velocity” and “transfer of momentum” Also I would hard code the zpg to bypass its minimum arm distance requirement upon hitting a rooted plant (you should know what this means, but in case you don’t, a plant is considered rooted if it activates an ability at renders itself immobile at great benefit. Healers that can do good damage would be more acceptable if it was the exception, and not the rule. Unfortunately, scientists are the latter, meaning that dedicated support scientists are far and few between. Getting rid of what encourages this I find would help tackle the issue, along with the general damage nerf. I am also most definitely biased (as I stated at the beginning of part 8), so I decided that I might as well play up my rant about the Explody Ball for the sake of comedy lol. While I stand by each of my points I make there, I am not that passionate about it as it may seem.

@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast tbh, only a slight dps nerf would be necessary when you address the actual problematic part of these characters, their self heals that make them selfish healers who don’t die as easily as they should when caught without their teammates. What I feel makes the pvz shooter healer’s balance concept work is that they are railroaded into a particular response to a sudden confrontation with an enemy while on their own (maybe their team didn’t notice the flank, the healer was caught during their travel to the frontline or even the worst case scenario of “your healing wasn’t enough to keep your team alive and you’re the last one standing”), but instead of being forced to chose flight, they have to choose fight because they can’t live long enough to run away but they can live long enough to fight back. This is the part where I would further develop my thoughts into suggesting my take on what is so problematic about the current implementation of scientist’s kit and stats and how those fly in the face of what popcap was going for, but life is getting in the way of my ability to properly pace my argument so to give a criminally short summary, scientist’s abilities are what heavily promotes selfish behavior, not his primary because why oh fucking why does he have a way to both self heal and engage or disengage enemies at his discretion at the same time, that’s just asking for someone to miss the fucking point of his weapons damage output entirely.

@@GoodlyData86596 The two solutions are pretty mutually exclusive, because if you nerf their damage output, it will kill any reason to go out and play as an assault character, and if you fix the abilities to not be as self-sufficient, you won’t see as many solo scientists. Doing both would just make the class good-for-nothing to the common eye and nobody would play him.

@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast preemptive apologies for not clarifying that I was only suggesting to make the self sustain part of scientist’s kit weaker, but yes, I agree that the two solutions are mutually exclusive and doing both would make the lows of scientist far outweigh the highs, creating an entirely new problem of getting people to even play as the zombie healer. Warp being limited in terms of flexibility is a good step in toning down the selfish sustain problem scientist has currently (as well as not giving him any offensive abilities, since the primary weapon is far enough in the offense direction on its own) but the real problem is the passion of self heal abilities, honestly to make the scientist not frustrating to both his enemies and teammates we just need him to actually have lasting consequences for over aggression and overconfidence, which doesn’t really happen when you can just say “actually, that never happened” to any damage you took So what I think would work better for a non castrated scientist would be to delete heal station and have ether heal beam (“OF SCIENCE! BECAUSE ITS COOL AND DEFINITELY NOT BECAUSE THE CODE WE PROGRAMMED NEEDS IT TO HAVE A DIFFERENT NAME!” -popcap) or healing hose as the only option in the ability slot, do what you did with the warps, then make the only option available for the third slot be sticky healing thingy from bfn, with a catch. That catch is that while it functions normally for allies in it’s radius, the scientist who threw it can’t benefit from those same effects, so instead of healing, it does the wizard zeelixer upgrade thing of instantly starting natural health regen, and as an added bonus I would also make it remove all debuffs that zeelixer or a non natural regen heal would remove (the two effects are applied per tick as long as the scientist remains the radius of his heal thingy while it’s active.) Bing bang boom, scientist now has both his kit and weapon distinguish him from his plant counterpart by having a playstyle that lets him essentially switch between passive and aggressive whenever he “smells blood in the water”, giving him a low skill floor because heal botting is effective but giving him a high skill ceiling for those who know when it’s more efficient to heal and revive or when it’s more efficient to *prey on the weakened.* Meanwhile sunflower can stay in her neiche of not being comfortable when suddenly confronted but still capable if she positions herself correctly to both heal her allies and provide covering fire (sometimes literally when she uses the sun as her deadly laser). With both relying on positioning themselves carefully so that they can help the fight go their team’s way by healing and dealing damage. Also with the abundance of abilities that can deal at least 100 damage, it shouldn’t be too hard to swiftly cut the healing off at the source if you spot an appropriate opening. Yea, I’m just gonna back off now, unless it’s something urgent like “oh no, he thinks he infallible now because his fans are contracting sheep syndrome” or some other garbage that can have a negative influence on a KZbinr as a person. I’m just gonna reserve any further judgement to a “second opinion” type of video when I eventually gain the proper motivation to make KZbin videos on the opinions I have.

Am I the only person who hates using the bfn stun grenade. I get not making the stun instant, but plants just run around a corner and I don't get the kill. Also, I like the long bomb hitbox and physics changes, but I think it should do a bit of extra damage on direct, say 150. The max blast damage could be changed to 100 to encourage direct hits (kinda like the Direct hit in tf2 that has more damage, but has a 70% splash penalty, making it a punishing weapon with very high reward) . Edit: I also love the stuff you make, this video was really well made. I was a bit worried for the all star class (my main class), you would overly punish the all stars who didn't ability spam. But you made good adjustments to the class, and didn't just say "IT'S NERFIN TIME". This video has earned you a sub.

Thank you for the very kind words! The hardest part about balancing “low skill, high reward” abilities is treading the fine line of raising the skill floor without destroying anything. Considering how protective people are over the GW2… well… anything, using BFN stuff can be quite risky. It might also help making judgement because I main All Stars on the zombie side lol. I think most of the changes are actually pretty good. There's just one change I think is bad. I really don't think it would be a good idea to remove teammates' hitboxes. I think body blocking and teammates blocking your view is just part of the game. For example, if you could shoot through teammates, I think that would be pretty powerful. Simply hide behind an Allstar and you have the perfect dummy replacement (that you can even shoot through). Of course I understand that it can be annoying if your ZPG is blocked or you have to run behind someone slow, but I still don't like the change at all.

I think you should keep the sticky bomb but make it like TF2s crusaders crossbow where it's a micro sticky heal bomb instead of a micro bomb. Decrease the dropoff and cooldown so you can chuck a bit of extra health on teammates that are in a fight that is too far away to help with.

I´d say you should propably rather change the ZPG so it´s damage gets higher the more it travels, instead of completely removing it´s damage in close range encounters. This would also tap more in the already existing feature of it speeding up over time

I get the feeling that you dont like all stars I know the imp punt was pretty oppressive but holy crap did the BFN imp punt feel bad to use. The fact it just bounces off of plants and then does literally 1 damage was painful. I think a good fix is dont let it push people but dont let it be pushed by people either so if it runs into someone they both come to a dead stop, also give it gradual damage falloff instead of doing either all its damage or 1. That will reduce instances of dying because you were barely in the full damage range and times where you get the frankly insulting 1 damage consultation Also for the normal tackle a thing that made BFN's feel bad as well is that it really only could hit one enemy so i think if you direct impact with it there should be a shockwave that does some damage and the same amount of knockback so that there is SOME form of crowd control

While getting footage for the BFN Imp Punt, I figured out EXACTLY what you mean by it feeling awful to use. In retrospect, It would probably behave like the GW2 one, but only deal 100 damage. As for the tackle, it will probably also get a wider hitbox so you can hit multiple people, as long as you hit them lined up from the broad side.

My idea for armored heal station is that it would be bigger so it works as a wall and healing 10hp per second and the normal one 15hp and be bigger(or frailer) so its easier to destroy, so they still have different uses (One as a wall and the other a faster to break but that heals faster) Hey, you could even make it so that armored got more heal distance than the normal but i think thats streching a bit

A heal/wall hybrid would be a neat way to take the ability! Maybe a Future Dummy ability variant explodes into a healing aura when destroyed. Nothing to compete with the actual healer’s role, but it would keep you alive for a couple extra seconds.

Bro no way the sonic grenade is op first of all it stops engineer for attacking for 0.75s and the target is only stunned for 1.5s that means that Engineer barely gets any time to attack also it's a stun ability it's not goop removing the trait of characters not being able to attack is what's unique about it. Because as of now it only last 1/2 of goop and you can turn around way better than being hit by goop. I feel like it shouldn't be changed because of a long cooldown heck maybe even buff the stun-time to 2s but probably not

You can use your teammates as stairs to reach new heights or you can push your local Gatling Pea with a bean bomb before it eats the opponents ZPG I like playing ice variants in a 1v2 and using the opponent as a shield when they are frozen. As Chomper, I can spikeweed the opponent when they are low and use them for cover when I use burrow. I developed a technique as mob Cob where I can shoot through my teammates, so I just end up using them as shields. This works well with Rose when she turns invincible. I guess with the changes you want to make, this will be possible with every character. I will have a good time playing sunflower, healing and shooting through my shields

@@fearlessgabe1509 I never considered using the Piercing characters for that purpose, and with all due respect it IS a cool tech, but I’m not sure if giving a handful of characters a special interaction is worth keeping all of the general annoyance from the mechanic. If anything, there could be an invisible semisolid platform on each characters’ head that you can jump on, but still walk/shoot through.

I want to throw something out there, all the new plants and zombies from bfn (besides the swarms) would fit in gw3 really well except snapdragon, because if there are goi to be variants snap dragon is basically just a reskin of fire chomper, and any variants of him would just be reskinned spray chompers, so I don’t think he would be a great fit for the game, I also think that catus should have the toggle for zooming because then the purpose of bandit cactus would be defeated.

I’m sad that Popcap and EA decided to trash the shooters team maybe it’s just copium but I’m still holding out hope that one day they will try again with the shooters and maybe they could even use your ideas. But all this would require pvz3 doing good which so far I’m not too sure about that.

Joke class: leaf No almanac entry because joke class Has 100 health, infinite ammo, perfect accuracy, and no drop off. but takes around a full second to actually shoot. 3 "tick" noises while play during that time. The shot deals 5 damage to players, and 30 to ai and bosses. Each shot will randomly pick one zombie and one gnome, if it hits the chosen target, it deals 500 damage, instantly killing them. A "Kching" sound will play and leaf will shout the iconic "yippee" when it happens. If it hits an enemy that was not selected, a "brrrt" sound will play and leaf will do the also iconic "Aw, dang it!!" when that happens. During either case, leaf becomes invincible while saying what he has to say Ability 1: shiver me timbers Leaf will go "shiver me timbers", if any pirate enemy (such as any deadbeard or scallywag imp) or other leaves are nearby, they will also go "shiver me timbers". This "shiver me timbers" cycle of both sides going back and forth will go on infinitely getting progressively faster and trapping possibly more pirates and leaves until one side is vanquished, where the vanquisher will be unable to move as their pirate teammate(s) walk toward them without regard to the will of the player to give them the *slap* and send their corpse way out of the park, and even phasing through obstacles. Ability 2: the spanish button Leaf places a button that either he or other players can press. Once pressed, everyone in the server will have all their voicelines replaced with "El diablo no quiere usar pantalones en mi casa y no sé por qué" for the rest of the match. This is irreversible. Ability 3: Let's be financially responsible Leaf shouts "let's be financially responsible". After this his primary guarantees 500 damage for 10 seconds. During which, if he lands a shot, he'll go "I can't stop winning". He'll also be invincible during which. Everything about this character is based off of iconic videos from "Raxdflipnote"

the zombie counterpart: EVIL leaf he doesnt have any abilities the only thing he has is a primary: "gambleator" whenever leaf tries to be financially responsible you can use this primary so EVIL leaf says "lets go gambling!" which erases the leaf from existence, also unlike leaf whenever saying his iconic line he goes to 1 hp

Well I have idea for the new game mod the new game mode is start with you the player have no ammo no shield just have health. All you need to do is go to the box then broke it then you get shot or heels or shields or speed or abilities. Abilities for chance is 5% and the heels is 25% and the shields is 10% and the speed 13% and you just have three lives to play the game mode if you win the game mode and your team you win nothing just coins just kidding you can take a 15 rainbow stars and oh yeah, I forgot for the ammo 26%

@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast so the idea was having 6 points 1 cost upgrades just small changes like +2 ammo or 3 damage or something the 2 slot is the variant or a decent upgrade the 3 is a pretty good change like full auto or stealing ammo and stuff like that also legendary variants take this slot Abilities have 3 points 1 cost is like a small duration or cool-down buff 2 is a variant and a 3 is a unique effect like healing on hit extra momentum after use a immortality while usage Key thing all variants and ability variants get a change from upgrades
