Starters: I actually like their shinies and have no problem with them at all except for quaquaval’s. I do like your idea for meowscarada despite me not being a huge fan of its design in general. Baxcalibur: Your shinies are kinda better but I don’t think the pre-evolutions are terrible. Sometimes less is more and I can atleast notice them. Baxcalibur itself could have changed more though. The yellow things on frigibax’s arms become pink and it’s body gets a little cyan coloured. Same with arctibax but the things on its arms go from orange to pink. Baxcalibur tries to do the same but it’s so dark that it starts to not work as well on it as it does for its pre-evolutions. Armarouge and ceruledge: At this point, anything is better than what we got and your versions are a simple change but it’s effective in my opinion. I like that the armour is black and then they still have their accent colours. I’d shiny hunt them if those were their shinies. People are trying to justify them by saying the armour used to evolve into them wouldn’t make sense to change colour on the shiny but I can think of a few Pokémon where the item is part of their design and it changes on the shiny, so there’s no excuse. I think you could have covered more shinies. We still have maushold and tinkaton in my opinion needs a better shiny because it kinda… doesn’t have one but it’s hammer does. The hammer isn’t even shiny corviknight coloured like some people said in the past. I would also like flamigo to have a better shiny. I understand the reason behind it (flamingos are only as pink as they are because they eat shrimp and they’re not actually that pink) but I think they could have done something better because it’s getting close to the barely changing type of shiny.

i like meowscarada's one because theifs and robbers are usually depicted with black and white. and green works perfect for the fuecoco line

Honestly with how could your alternatives look in comparison to the OG colors, Nintendo probably doesn’t want their shiny forms to outshine (pun intended) the original designs.

would've loved the maushold line to have a brown or black shiny instead of getting the slight color change they gave us. i think dark gray might work too.

It took me a while to like the starters shinies, but it grew on me over time. I like Quaqaval's shiny because it makes it look soapy for some reason

I understand not every shiny is gonna look great, but Nintendo fumbled on some of the best Pokemon in the gen. Other mons like Toedscruel look great. But not the starters or pseudo legendary. It’s very disappointing, so these fixes looked great :) I really hope Palworld can cause some competition for Pokemon to actually start trying again. Outside of just shinies, it would be nice to see some more effort from them.

I legit had a video planned on how palword is a good thing for pokemon but I feel by the time I finish the video, It would be old news😅. If theres anyone out there who wants to see pokemon shine and be best it can be, its me 😤

Pokémon aren’t just gonna try harder because of palworld. They are rushing out the games to go along with the merch and other things. If the games get delayed, everything has to be delayed. All we can do is wait until they eventually make a game that just so happens to be what we want in a not so good amount of time or not buy their games and they will surely do something.
