My mechanic is putting on the adjustable arms and also a spring/ strut kit. I'm hoping the damn rear tires are straight! I've been buying rear tires every 2 months!

Hey 👋 Nate. Rob here. What year is your Element? I own a blue 03 and a 17 Cbr 500R

On these older vehicles driven in the rust belt are the chassis bolts on the inboard side of the control arm troublesome to remove?
@ElementofAdventure4 жыл бұрын
They can be. If you have some rust, get some PB blaster or some penetrating oil and spray it down before you go at it. I sometimes will do it a few times starting a day or two before working on it. My element is relatively rust-free, so I didn't have any issues.

what can cause rear sag in a civic. Recently replaced rear coil springs but the front has more gap than the rear? Shocks?
@ElementofAdventure3 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure about the known issues of the civic. It could be general wear of all of the suspension components. When I put new springs and struts on my element, the rear end lifted up higher.

@@ElementofAdventureby new struts in the front ? because my civic has shocks on the rear and Struts in the front

I had to do the same thing with my CRV. I added a 20mm spacer to lift the rear end up some and added some adjustable camber arms with poly bushings. I noticed yours are rubber. Did you tighten the bolts while the vehicle was on the jack?

Jackson Cruz which brand upper control arms did u buy? Also which bolts do you refer to ? The set bolts for the chamber adjustment ? Or at the bushing ?
@atxjax14 жыл бұрын
@@GetMikeNyce I forgot on my CR-V but on your Eelement you could get these from Rock Auto. The bolt that need tightened properly while suspension is under load would be the two upper arm bolts to prevent premature bushing wear. www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=5562597&cc=1433815&jsn=2151

@@atxjax1 sorry clarify on the "two upper arm bolts" ... is it the two on the adjustment or the bolt that mounts to the frame w/ the poly bushing?
