I did exactly that. Simply laid the Mando cape over the boba half-cape, then cut the shape out of mando's.

1:14 for the half fingerless look, eclipsegrafx offers some custom ones with the correct color as well as the white and blue glove cover mando has. Other than that, these upgrades are perfect 🤌🏻

I really love and prefer the darker beskar helmet. Having made that costume Beskar is definitely a dark chrome and I feel like the Beskar Mando minifig is too light.

I used one of Boba Fett's side cape pieces because Din always flips his cape to the side when using Rising Phoenix so it doesn't burn up the cape.

I don’t think that the helmet from the newer sets works for non Beskar Mando as those are Beskar while non beskar mando uses dura-steel, still a cheaper choice tho.

I feel like one helmet should always be used, and that is the newer, lighter colored helmet as he always had a pure beskar helmet throughout the show weather it was at the start or towards the end, it was only the rest of his body, leg, shoulder, and arm armor that was originally durasteel/beskar alloy. That's why he never had to change his helmet any time because it couldn't be damaged as it was pure beskar throughout.

Everyone says the gunmetal gray jetpack is the wrong color when it isn't. Mando's jetpack is a slightly darker color compared to his Beskar armor, and that is also how EVERY figure (Lego, Vintage Collection, Black Series, etc.) has portrayed it.

I used the N-1 mando as a base and took the cape off of the Tuskin vs Mando set, combined with the Extra belt that comes with the N-1 set it looks amazing

honestly with a cape i think the one included in the microfighter is about as close to a perfect minifigure as lego will really give us, i still prefer a custom darksaber piece but i understand the appeal of the official one.
