In this video, I prepare for the repairs needed to prepare my boat for sailing and coastal cruising. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, I tackle a lengthy to-do list that includes replacing the running rigging and the anchor chain. During my preparations, I accidentally punctured the refrigerant line, which was a much bigger repair project than anticipated, costing over $2,000. This incident prompted me to take a step back and reassess my priorities, differentiating between urgent tasks and those that can wait. To boost my morale, I reflect on my accomplishments and progress so far.
