Great informative video! I was gonna take it to the shop, but now I’m gonna do it myself. Good job! Thank you.

Thanks perfect I'll check the valve line first before I change the booster because when the car is on I hear air coming out when stepping on the brakes

That was a really great video by the way I've watched several of those ones and year is by far hands down the best explaining in everything in and everything will you please help me out with this little issue I'm stranded on the side of the road right now as we speak I appreciate it very much

To be honest, I am not to sure, but sounds to me like your brake lines just need to be bled properly of air.. sounds like you could have some air in there or the man never changed it at all. I'm no mechanic just a guy trying to keep the mind busy. Sorry for late reply. I appreciate the comment too.

Hey do you bleed the lines on the same day?
@xillerated2 жыл бұрын
@@devinruth9157 we did yes, don't know if your mechanic did that. Start rear passenger, then rear driver, then front passenger, then front driver.

Hey I just watched the video og the brake The brake booster and my problem is that I paid some fluffy guy to put it in and hes obviously didn't do it right because now my brakes are just seized up when I go and reverse the work if I just let him sit and then they'll seize up again so what do you think it possibly could be I enjoy your videos and

I have the same truck My brake booster went out but I noticed on the firewall there's a little flange piece that sticks out about an inch where the upper firewall and lower firewall are welded together is the brake booster supposed to sit right under flange or is the brake booster supposed to be actually touching it

Did you have to get a new spacer or are you able to re use the old one? Or did the new one come with one?
@xillerated Жыл бұрын
Honest answer, I really can't remember 4 years ago if we reused the old one, but most likely. I can only recall new washers and nuts, but I don't think spacer.

Sure wish you showed a video of removing the brake. Pedal and takings the brake cater pin and pin.
@xillerated3 жыл бұрын
Just saying. It's not that hard to see what needs to be removed even in the video. I had let someone watch it without seeing this video before and still understood what I was talking about. To remove the cotter pin you just pull it out with needle nose and I never removed the brake pedal. I just unbolted the brake booster.
@gabrielamartinez73162 жыл бұрын
How did you take out the bolt that held the pin? For some reason I can’t get mines out
@xillerated2 жыл бұрын
If your talking about the cotter pin thats connected to the brake pedal. It's just a slide piece that holds the pedal and rod together. So take the cotter pin out, then push the piece that held the cotter pin the opposite way.

@@xillerated what was the sequence sir. Is it rr,fl,rl,fr
@bernainmolina74813 жыл бұрын
@@mydogblack6685 it can go either way but in most cases its recommended that you start with the back ones due to the fact that it has the longest brakes lines therefore it's more likely to have air bubbles in them when removing anything relating to the brakes and brake fluid

@ bernain molina This comment section is filled with some of the funniest crap I have ever heard! Where do you guys get your information from, No one in this comment section has a clue what you were talking about! Please tell me why you would have to bleed your brakes after replacing a brake booster? You can’t answer that question because it’s not true, You only need to bleed your brakes after replacing one of the following, caliper, brake hose, brake line, master cylinder, wheel cylinder, proportioning valve or any other hydraulic part! Also you don’t always start with the longest line when bleeding brakes, What you need to do is find out what the vehicles manufacturer recommends for the particular vehicle you are working on! So no it can’t go either way, if you don’t crack a line you don’t need to bleed them! Oh everything that I have stated is based on facts! Unlike all of these KZbinrs who pretend to be mechanics I am actually a mechanic, I’ve got 29 years under my belt and for the last 10 I have owned my own shop! You idiots need to stop making statements as if they are facts!
