That's one of the many reasons why water cooling is still very risky. Water-cooling PCs look amazing, but it's a headache to change or upgrade any components.

I think there are just way too many downsides to custom watercooling. If you REALLY need your PC to look cool then do it.
@TheBlueBunnyKen3 ай бұрын
It's also hella expensive

thats the reason there is soft tubing and quick connects.

It offers nothing over air cooling and is louder due to more fans and the radiator restricting said airflow. It's a fools game, played by fools and won by no one.

Just like her man, glad to see Amelia’s PC didn’t let her down. Glad it’s back up and running!

I've been watercooling for years and had several explosions. The PCs have only ever not worked once. I think modern components are pretty resistant.

One of the reasons i will never go with fully water cooled system, needs too much work which adds more chance of screw up if you are not super careful

You definitely need to remove all the water coolant first when moving the PC. Especially if it's going to be transported to another house. I will also remove the GPU and whatever other "Heavy" components, glass or fragile parts before moving. That's why I always keep the boxes.

Yes i dont like transporting pcs with liquid inside

Soft tubing and not leaving pc on while away ftw. Surprised you didn’t pull the board out completely
@coltonkoepp6553 ай бұрын
Air Cooling FTW no risk of liquid spilling inside the PC and is easier/cheaper to maintain and replace parts heck most high quality Air coolers can deliver similar results to water cooling
@spacecy3 ай бұрын
nah. air cooling ftw. leaving the pc on forever if u want. no leak.

@grelkath3 ай бұрын
Why didn't you plug the tube to the cpu with your finger, when first removing it? You let it spill instead... 🤔

If you have water cooled build and you leave your pc running while you are away i would suggest you buy aquacomputer flow sensor and then you can do output in the software to shut down the pc if your pump fails or your flow drops it might've saved your whole build totally
