Just a quick note for everyone watching this: EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT BODIES AND THAT'S OKAY. What works for Jess and Gabriel may not work for you and that's alright. I can't imagine waking up at 5-5:30 AM, waking up between 8-10 AM works best for me. My sister feels the best when she wakes up at 11 AM. Find the right time for your body and listen to it. Also, it's okay to NOT have a productive day. A good day does NOT have to be a productive one. God bless all of you.

I love this comment. It’s so true! We don’t have to have something to do every SINGLE day. It’s okay to take a day or two to just lounge around and do nothing. We are always so focused on rushing through things and have our minds set to something, like being “on a mission” that we forget it really is OKAY to wind down. I like how you said that everyone’s different ❤️ and we should find what works best for us!

I agree. It's absolutely okay if u don't do anything productive or wake up early EVERYDAY its not important. Take time to relax take time for URSELF don't always rush to do things it's not like the end of the world will be here if u don't do anything. Waking up late or at the time ur body feels right at waking up and just relaxing and watching movies all day can be a good day also, a good day isn't called the one where ur busy and are rushing to get things done or trying to be productive. You being happy and and giving time to URSELF is also called a good day

This video is so inspiring! I've always been a night owl and as I've gotten older, it's really started to negatively impact me because I feel unproductive and don't like wasting so much of my day. If anything, being quarantined has just enhanced this to the point where my sleep schedule is just so awful. I think I'm going to try this out! Making little steps each day opposed to trying to change it up at once is an amazing idea.

Every single night I tell myself that I’m going to sleep early. Then it’s like 2-3 in the morning I fall asleep and have to be up at 6. I regret it every morning but I continue to do the same routine every night 😂😂😩😩😭😭

Personally I started to woke up early (5am to be exact) day 3 of Quarantine because i read the bible verse Psalm 5:3 “In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice, in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” It’s like God is convicting me because a lot of people dying outside because of Covid19 while i was enjoying waking up late. So from then on I started to woke up 5am. And included the sick people in my prayers.

Before this virus the latest I ever slept was around 9:30, but usually 8:30, no matter what time I went to bed. Since this virus, I’ve been waking up at 2pm... my days are so short now, this video is helpful.

This is fascinating to me, never met anyone that wakes up this early voluntarily. I have always been and always will be a night owl. I'm best at night to prepare for things and to get things done. But it's interesting how our bodies clock works. Obviously, I do wake up early but only if it's for a purpose like going to work or going to an appointment etc. But I really enjoyed this video x

Waking up early in the morning definitely works for me. I feel like I'm more productive and get more done compared to my routine these days which has turned upside down (like most Muslims these days) due to the month of Ramadan. The waking-up-half-an-hour-early-everyday thing has worked for me and I'll be implementing this again to make my routine better after Eid! Thank you Jess for motivating me! You two have always been a positive inspiration to me since your first vlog together on your other channel.

My ideal bed time is 11pm in bed asleep by midnight or 12:30, wake up 7:00-9:30 (depending on how much time I have for sleep or how much sleep I’m craving). I tried rising at 5am but I feel a little fatigued throughout the day somehow. There are two great books called The 5 Am Club and The Miracle Morning. Highly recommend!

I used to go bed really late sometimes at 3.30 am and others at 4am and get up about 11am or 12pm, but now I seem to get really tired around 7pm and I'm normally in bed for 21.30pm or the latest 11.00pm and I don't know why. I don't sit around every day all day, I like to go out on my bike for a little bike ride and get some fresh air. I'm definitely going to use this video to help my life and sleep schedule so I feel happier and more energised. Thank you for making and uploading this video. This is really going to help me 😊

omg thank you jess for making this videooooo!!! I feel like these past weeks (especially since my semester has finished) everydya just kinda felt very slumpy, and just kinda almost too carefree. My sleep schedule has definitely been out of wack. I go to sleep any time between 1-4am, and wake up between 8am-12pm (LMAO). Even though it's something I don't think I should feel guilty for but I think just being too carefree about this kinda affects my mood everyday and it's been something I've been wanting to fix, and this video definitely gives me the motivation for it! I'm gonna start tonight so hopefully Ill be in bed by midnight and I can start from there! Thank you Jess for always being a positive influence

Thank you so so much for this video. This just gave me a boost of motivation to fix my sleep schedule. Since quarantine, my sleep has been extremely bad and it has hindered my productivity. guys please don't feel bad for not waking up that early. what works for jess and gabe might not work for you. If I tried to wake up anytime before 8:30 ( except when I'm going to the gym) , I'd be super tired the whole day and ruin my sleeping schedule even more. so if waking up at 5am works for you then do it, and if it doesn't then just find a time that works for you and your body 😘❤️

HA I've been trying to start a booktube channel, wanted to start with a "fixing my schedule" video as a rough draft to get used to filming and editing... and I've been filming the video for over a month. Between jetlag and having a general bad sleep schedule and I saw this video come up and was like... they're about to do what I can't in months in a week aren't they... YUP. Lol.
