i understand your point, and the sherpa people are essential to guided expeditions and trekk agencies, but people do solo summits without supplemental oxygen, sherpas or guides. Look up Göran Kropp for example

@sebastianfjorn yes but are they putting down ladders and stringing the ropes themselves. If they're using a path already laid out then that makes it a little easier.

I certainly hope that the IceFall Doctors did not have to make their own lunch... That someone back at camp prepared it for them. Love you guys, praying for your safety thru'out the season. Have been for over 10 yrs now. I would never want to climb but admire and follow those who do.
