I can fix that. I just fixed my xj that was worse than that. The frame is a box. If you can weld together a box then you acn fix that. It just takes time patience and skill. If you can weld together a box then you can rebuild the rail and then put the frame stiffeners on. It may take months and be more work than the jeep is worth to you but it definitely can be done. Also I restored my jeep that was worse than that and I did it with harbor freight tools. I still have it and it will not get scrapped in my lifetime

I don't think the A/C draining caused most of that damage. I think the salty road water getting kicked on it from the front wheels did most of it. When you're done, add some underbody coating and mud flaps behind the front wheels.

I'm pretty sure it did, because the inside of the passenger hat channel is always wet, even in the warm months. The drivers hat channel is rock solid. I've had two xj's of the same generation without the zj problem.

Ive had 2 jeeps and because of the frame rusting out, never again. I know there are repairs like this but come on, they should of built them better. Loved my 98 xj until the x got into a minor fender bender and the rear crumpled like aluminum foil. The 05 gc the shop wouldn't work on it because the frame was so bad.
