thank you very much, you saved me a lot of hours. my follow up question is regarding multiple accepted domains and multiple CAS servers. Does this mean i have to generate a seperate .pfx for each accepted domain? and do i need to install the software on each CAS or do i just copy over the .pfx and installon other servers. And finally are there any related implications on an Edge Transport server ??

If the servers are internet facing then you would want to add host records for each one and SPF and DMARC should match. If they aren't internet facing, then just copy the PFX over and assign it to the same services so internal users don't get errors.

If I use Cpanel and do all implementations through Cpanel still do I have to use Exchange server and IIS SMTP Service?

They would be unrelated so you would still have to do the work.

Did you experience spf timeouts with Microsoft exchange online ?

Yes but it only took about ten minutes and then it was fine after that.

@@techpub on our side we have something like 10 % of our mail flow for 20000 users is impacted by that dns issue and Microsoft told us YES it’s problem as we have only 500ms dns time out for exchange online .... so we wait for ms global fixing.... i see many other user are impacted as well ... is mainly on middle size domain and not big one like gmail or oracle or ibm ..

hello how you configure the revers dns my mail go to spam folder and my reverse dns don't work

You already have a forward lookup, but your ISP needs to be contacted for your reverse. So in my case, I called my ISP and said I need a reverse record to point 199.107.166.116 to mail.techpublishing.com. within an hour they normally create it and you can test it from your workstation.

@@techpub I have an issue if you can help. All email from my IP and Domain Gmail mark as Spam. Reverse DNS, SPF, DMARC and DKIM pass.
