I have essentially done the same thing you did last year. Bought a new fuse box from the dealership, new connector and repinned wires. Worked beautifully. However, melted pins again a year later just now.I'm thinking of rewiring it to an external fan relay and seeing what happens. If anyone has done that before, mentor me 🙏 please!!. Thinking it's very possible. However, don't know if it will mess anything up if I do it 😮 🤔

I know this was a couple years ago I havent seen any other f/u video. However, did you check connecter plug to your fan? There are 4 spots in plug but only 3 needed. Maybe one of them burnt?! If so, theres an extra core in the plug, has piggy tail on it. Remove bad core and replace. Im so curious as to what the problem was

I have the exact same problem on my 06. Were you able to figure out what’s causing it? I took it to two different shop’s already and both can’t figure it out

All in all, I like the video. You do a decent job of explaining what you're doing and why. But some criticism I do have : you don't explain the problems you're having and what you may have tried before at the beginning of the video. So when you start watching you really have no idea why you're doing what you're doing with the fuse box. And more importantly the title of this video implies that there is a fix. But what you spend 80% of the video doing doesn't fix the problem, and you haven't updated with any fix . Please make a new vid where you explain what the problem was and how you found it and fixed it if you have indeed fixed it. Then you could link this one to that one. A lot of people are looking to answers to this problem, myself included.

Well first off an 07 mustang gt shouldn't have a fan clutch. But to generally answer your question. Any fan clutch on any vehicle should not be engaged all the time.

Did you try another relay in the fan spot? Run fan constant put it on toggle. Should of finished vid before I commented lol 👍👊

So I changed the water pump , thermastat ,radiator and radiator fan an temp sensor all new hoses an bleed the air out the cooling system fans come on like they should but o6 mustang gt still wants to run help no cracked head or anything or water in the oil all goood no problems there

Well if it's like mine and been worked on by kids doing a half but job at doing modifications i suspect some of my problems with mine are from them deleting the air modulator valve in the bottom of the intake manifold and not tuning the ecm to the modification. There's alot of things it could be and without fiscally digging in and diagnosing a vehicle I don't have the ability to even try to guess what the issue is. I'm told my engine was gapped for nitrous but I'm not sure that would cause such a problem. With mustangs people do so many different modifications it's really difficult if you don't know everything about it. Like with mine I cannot believe they use a two core radiator to cool a v8. You'd think itd be a 4 core. Also I know on mine they use a cylinder head temp sensor. So I'm tempted to put in a completly separate temp sensor and fan relay circuit. I know my fan is pulling way to many amps which leaves the possibility that these problems could be from a now damaged ecm. If it's possible to borrow an ecm from someone to see if that's the issue. When I worked at a towing company/salvage yard I had the luxury of having spare ecms laying around to be able to check if that was the issue. And many times unexplained issues that I spent alot of time on and couldn't figure out turned out to be the ecm had issues.

I think the ecm wasn't grounding the circuit good.
