bro thank you so much, I just got my MWS on Sunday and I’m trying to find videos that change out the nozzle piece
@pingu.02112 жыл бұрын
Yeah theres a few out there, but they don't really show where things can go wrong. So I put this together for some folks I know personally and everyone else.

Do you not use the other springs in the set, do you only need that one spring? I've also heard from other videos that you should loosen the buffer tube by 1 rotation for proper bolt locking, is this true with your experience using the MWS?
@patrickcarnahan549311 ай бұрын
I could be wrong, but I am pretty certain the recommendation is to tighten the buffer tube by one full rotation.

Hey man, I know this video is old, but your instructions really helped me out with replacing the return spring for my first mws. Appreciate you doing this. I have a question if you don't mind, I ended up scratching up my metal nozzle endpin using pliers (I know, horrible idea but I didn't have a vice block or anyone I knew had one). Would the nozzle endpin from the unicorn set or Dytac be a reliable replacement if I somehow screw it up more?

The original is just as durable as WE etc are. We are 3 friends who all use MWS original spring has lasted for 3 years now on all of them, while my WE has broken twice
@pingu.02112 жыл бұрын
Definitely can confirm. We only had 1 broken nozzle return spring over 12 MWS's running for about a year each. The we tech's have seen better days (4 of them don't work right or are unreliable)

Mine broke after about a dozen sessions. Womp womp. Thankfully it’s a cheap and easy fix.
@Obsolete_E Жыл бұрын
If there are wear marks on the screw the bolt is overtraveling and hitting the buffer tube. Watch out or you'll break the bolt

Is it really bad for the gun to use green gas out of the box? Is this something you have to do before you use it with green gas? I just ordered one want to make sure I don’t damage it.
@pingu.02112 жыл бұрын
You can run it for a game or two. But it’s recommended you do some modifications to it to make it 100% reliable. Most mods are cheap or free

@@pingu.0211 Well... it was hard, I had to check a lot of videos to figure out stuff. Also, I had to change the hopup nub as well, which was a nightmare, even less videos showing how to do it. I did testfire the gun, but only very close range, so I could barely verify that it somewhat works. The original surgery was yesterday and yt decided to show me your video just today... :D

@@pingu.0211 - What I had problem with doing the nub change is: - Which things are just pressed together and need a good yank and which are the tricky-bendy-breaky parts. - What orientation a new fancy hopup nub should be. - How to assemble in a way that you don't have to disassemble it again... twice. - How to do this all without the special tools, like punches and that barrel whateverizizer everybody seems to have except me. - How to not scratch the whole thing up.
