During a parasitic draw test, when you first connect the multimeter in series to test amperage draw, a lot of the computer systems will “wake up.” You have to wait a while for the modules to go to “sleep” for that initial amperage to drop down (as well as have all doors/hood/trunk in a “closed” position). Finally after all the modules are asleep, you can begin your parasitic draw test. You usually want to see under 0.100 amps. A lot of these newer cars will have a higher IOD due to all of these modules they’re equipped with. Hope this helps in the future!
@Luccini2010 ай бұрын
You’re right have to wait couple mins coz the capacitors inside the ecu and other stuff will take time to fully drain
@GD7LTD10 ай бұрын
Not saying anything you said was incorrect, but Hondas spec is .050 amps and below. Anything above is considered excessive draw/not normal. Most of the time I see .010-.020 on the newer vehicles with no draw.

@@GD7LTD same here, I typically see that as well, but now days some cars it’s normal to see more than .050. I agree with you!

Hey Devin, CBC stands for complete blood count. Measures your red blood cells, white cells and platelet. Also measure the function part of your red cells. If you have platelet aggregation means you have platelet clumps. Ask them to draw you a lavender top and also a light blue top. Hopefully it can be counted on both tube. Good luck!👍

Correct. A blue top or sodium citrate tube should be used for the next CBC you do to aid in possibly ruling out platelet aggregate the CBC analyzer may be determining/counting. Next step is maybe a blood film for confirmation. Yea that carnivore diet was a long shot, some studies have shown that paw paw/paw paw leaves and pomegranate can increase platelet count. Got nothing to loose giving it a try.

The new content is great Devin. When content creators let go of the expected way people act on KZbin and let the real person out that’s when I think the content becomes more relatable. If someone wants to be successful we all share the same issues you speak of. That’s what makes watching enjoyable. In short it’s great to see you being real man. Keep it up love it 👊😎💪 it’s definitely inspiring for many and nice you figured it out at such a young age.

Hey Devin, The reason they show that comment about your platelets is, because they looked through a microscope and saw the platelets were clumped together (coagulated). This would cause a lower result than it might in reality be, so they won't give any result. This can occur if the tube isn't mixed well enough right after drawing blood or it can also occur due to the reagent that is used inside of the tube. But the last part I would find unlikely, because otherwise this would always happen. Anyway, awesome you are fixing the type R 😃I started watching you when you were fixing up the totalled type R so it's nice to see you fixing the last issues with it. Keep it up the good work.

I’m a tech at Honda, the max spec for draw is .050 amps. You have to “latch” whatever door you have open, lock the doors and arm the security system, then wait 10-20 minutes for all the modules to go to sleep. The time can vary but if you watch the amp meter you can see it drop.

If you have a newer car with push-button start, the brake and clutch is the main module of the CAN line, through which most of the signals pass. If you have ungrounded engine harnesses even though they are not connected, it may be that the signal termination is missing, which causes the brake lights to self-lightup.

Hey Devin, Your battery current draw issue could be because your brake lights are staying on. If you keep having an issue also with your car throwing the out of sink dtc’s, it could be related to the brake lights staying on. A lot of the new cars these days have a fail safe in the system to prevent you from loading up the car while pressing the accelerator and brake at the same time and cuts the power.

I pray one day there will be a series by you on a Honda CRX resto. It would make my life complete.

If the brake light circuit with that fuse #5 was involved with the radar/camera system it could have been tied into the CAN bus and keeping some modules awake when it shouldn't have been causing a draw.

Do you and be you, and please people who are important to you, and who cares what others think they don't matter. Hope you get the health situation sorted out. I think the EVO deserves a built engine, and MATTE black paint lol. I am sure you inspire alot of people who love cars and making them their own. Also, can we get some Vasyn apparel in Tall? For the air conditioning to work you will need RPM, air-conditioning pressure, compressor output, probably coolant temp, for the ECU to not freak out all the time you might have to hook up the oem throttle position sensor and a dummy throttle body hooked up. My Silverado has a aftermarket(Holley terminator) ECU controlling all functions of the engine. There was things that the factory ECU still needed as inputs to not always be in a limp mode

You should hear a click when the battery shuts off when the driver or passenger door opens. I'm having a similar issue with my 2019 Accord which it won't shut off the battery after I open the door. I attempted to do a DIY which short circuited the sensor. After the engine is turned off, all the window switches are still active until the computer shuts off the battery after 3 - 5 minutes I think
