Thank you for sharing the cicada sounds. I've been wondering whether the disturbance is over, but none of the other channels I follow have mentioned it. The worms were out looking for their dinner 😉 ~ Sandra

They are mind numbingly loud. I usually wear noise cancelling headphones when I’m outside now

Exactly how I will probably end up doing it. Seems to be pretty straight forward though. Thanks

It was definitely a learning experience. Hope to not do it again for awhile.

A trick with stuff like that is hammer the old shaft through with the new shaft as a punch.

It was immediate. This tractor does everything for us. It was rough not having it for a week.

The cicada sounds don't seem to bother in the video. Maybe it is just my sound settings? I am very bad hearing though. You need a 3 pound hammer! With a large punch and a pliers to hold the punch so you do not hit your hand. It took a broken hand to learn to use a pliers to hold the punch.

Yeah I was thinking about that. I’m probably the only person I know that hasn’t hit themselves with a hammer on accident……yet.

Not in video is ten minutes of me trying to use a recip saw on it because I didn’t think I’d be able to push it through.
