my motor makes a bit of a grinding noise when you try to put it in reverse but it never goes into reverse. Shifts to neutral and forward great. Could these dials that you're talking about turning be the cause of my issue? Thanks. Any help is much appreciated

Top should be throttle bottom should be shift cable

So then Neutral free spin. Drive n reverse full engagement with no slipping of gears. I was thinking that your description in the video was a little inaccurate.

I wouldn't necessarily listen to this guy The top one is your shift link cable , it controls your forward Neutral and reverse the lower cable is your Is throttle cable

This is a useless video. The bottom cable actuates the throttle. The top cable actuates the gear shift.
